I think the league needs to consider a couple of rules changes:
Increase the game day active roster to 50 and mandate that teams have at least 3 QBs on the active game day roster. The 2nd half of that game was a farce and with the league concussion rules now in place, there is increased risk that a team ends the game like today with a severely limited QB or a non-QB playing QB.
I would also like to see the QB incomplete pass/fumble rule changed from arm moving forward to arm in passing/throwing motion (or something like that). Maybe that still causes issues, but there has to be a better way to determine an incomplete pass vs a fumble. The Dobbs play vs Jax, the Allen play vs Cin, and the Purdy play vs Phi all looked about the same. Two were fumbles, one was not. It was all up to the replay official to make a judgment call. There has to be a more concrete way to make that call.
