This is probably the most upset I have been about a game in a long time, and even then Im still not as worked up as I would have been 10 years ago.
Can thank the Cowboys and Ags for that.

Getting older does that as well. Too many real life stresses and hard times that we've worked through make football games seem less relevant.

It's been wonderful IMO... I still get fired up and love the game, but it's nice to not get all pissed off after a disappointing game.

100% true. Very well said.

That was a good game. The 49ers let the Cowboys stay much too close, especially dropping that pick-six from Dak, but the better team won…nobody (at least no honest person) can say otherwise.

For the Cowboy fans, I'm sorry that you are paying for the deserved bad karma Jones brought on what was once a fan-worthy franchise. Tom Laundry and Tex Schramm are smiling from above.
Eff off.

I love Dak, but you've got to trade him here. He'll never be worth more than he is now and that $$ could be put to good use around the locker room.

Worst plays of the game

Dak INT #1
Dak INT #2
Diggs dropped INT
Wilson tackling the TE on what would have been a sack on 3rd down
Turpin cutting into the freaking kicker instead of outside and scoring a TD

Change any 2 of those plays and we win this game. SF was not more talented than us. For some reason the Cowboys' IQ drops by half in the playoffs for the last 25 years. Every year we find some random way to lose that I've never seen before. This year had all the above, plus a defense lineman called for holding on a run play and 2 Schultz bonehead plays

We dem boys lol

I seriously can't believe it's been 27 years since this franchise has made it to the NFC championship game.

In that time only 3 NFC teams have not advanced to a Conference title game - Cowboys , Redskins(Commanders) and Lions.
Every other NFC team has actually advanced to at least 2 NFC title games
8- Packers
7- Eagles, 49ers
4- Panthers, Falcons , Rams , Vikings
3- Buccaneers, Giants, Seahawks , Saints
2- Bears, Cardinals
0- Cowboys , Commanders, Lions

Awesome lol

By here are the AFC champ game appearances in last 27 years

14- Patriots
7- Steelers
5- Broncos , Chiefs
4- Ravens, Colts
3- Jaguars, Jets, Titans
2- Raiders, Bengals
1- Bills, Chargers
0- Dolphins, Browns, Texans

Agreed the Niners are not more talented. They just seem to be put in better positions to win.

The 49ers beat the Cowboys with QB3.

Third fckn string QB beat Dak and the Cowboys.

STFU and stop hating.

You choose to support Jerry Jones' Cowboys.

These are NOT the Tex Schramm, Tom Laundry, Roger Staubach, Drew Pearson, Tony Dorsett, Ed Jones, Randy White, etc. Dallas Cowboys.

These are the West Little Rock, Arkansas, Pleasant Valley Country Club cowboys.

Until you get another owner, you are choosing your destiny of failure.

How any true Texan can support this fraudulent franchise is ridiculous.

You forgot a big one.

Gallup was wide open. If Dak makes great throw, it's 70 yard touchdown. If Dak makes a good throw, it's a 35 yard gain to midfield.

Dak's horrible accuracy is the reason the Cowboys lost,

Dak also missed a wide open TD to Noah brown and instead threw to double covered Lamb for an incomplete

the 1970s were 50+ years ago. i respect your old man trash talk but i'm not sure it's going to resonate with this crowd.

It's not even that. Of course we all worship those days, but it might as well be a totally different sport today. It's asinine to even try to compare those 2 eras

We could have still won had any one of those things not happened...BUT if Dak had just played an average QB game we win as well...but there is just zero chance anyone trades for him AND we have no real option to replace him.

That was due to Jimmy Johnson and his personnel approach and coaching. Try again

Agreed. I've never understood why Cowboy fans trash Jerry for moving on from Landry considering it led to 3 Super Bowls. Trash Jerry for all of the stupid stuff since, but moving on from Landry and hiring Jimmy was the right move.

Totally agree. Then Jerry had to get into a D measuring contest with Jimmy and ruin what could have been one of the best dynasties in the NFL, a la the 2000s Patriots.

Oh yeah Jones bought the team and retired Landry who the game had passed him by
