It's clear the future of winning in the NFL is finding a rookie contract QB and build a team around him. Hard to win having huge contracts. There are a few exceptions but just look at the last 10 years. Either a stud rookie QB or sell your soul for a win that season (Rams). Mahomes and Brady seems to be the exception.

Is there any possibility the cowboys/Jerry would draft a QB to replace Dak? I just don't think Jerry cares about winning as much as he does making money. Cowboy fans are loyal and will still sell out and love their team. He has no pressure

Getting older does that as well. Too many real life stresses and hard times that we've worked through make football games seem less relevant.
It's been wonderful IMO... I still get fired up and love the game, but it's nice to not get all pissed off after a disappointing game.
I'm not wasting any more emotions on the Cowboys as long as Prescott is the QB. A good guy and decent QB but not the player you need at QB if you want to win it all. I probably would dump McCarthy as well...might even promote Quinn to HC.

Yes to my point. Utilize rookie contracts and spend where it's most important. RBs just don't warrant big money contracts like they did 10 years ago.

All I can think of they were seeing something up for the linemen to block down field for the receiver, and Zeke was supposed to be following to get a lateral... However, it seems like no one thought of the fact that an LB is going to love blowing up Zeke and getting a free shot at Prescott. Also, it seemed like the receiver outran the linemen, so he had no blockers.
Once sf called timeout they should have gone to something else. But Kellen is a dunce and thought he could stick with it.

That was a good game. The 49ers let the Cowboys stay much too close, especially dropping that pick-six from Dak, but the better team won…nobody (at least no honest person) can say otherwise.

Cowboys losing Amari Cooper was a big mistake. That Zeke contract will haunt the cowboys. Imagine keeping cooper and trading zeke.
