Might as well book Payton to the Chargers. It's the job he wanted from the get go.

Staley is easily the worst coach in the NFL and that's not limited to just head coaches.

I quit watching part way through the first half. Just saw the score and can't believe the Jaguars came back.

I'd trade him. The coach picks up the slammed helmet and gives it to him. He slams it again! That's not the type of player that helps you win a super bowl.

It was Staley that picked it up. He has no control over this team

Live just south of Jacksonville and thought the game was over at the half. An unbelievable second half for the Jags!

What an incredible choke job. Chargers have to clean house. TBD if Herbert is among the elite with a new coach or a step down like he is now.

Herbert has very little help on O. They need to draft or trade for some weapons. His only real receiving threat is always hurt and didn't play last night. His RB is only worth a damn near the goal line. His situation reminds me of Elway early in his career.

The Chargers' biggest problem last night was failing to score touchdowns from the 10 and in. They had 2 possessions in the first half where they got to 1st and goal from the 10 and first and goal from the 6 and kicked 2 field goals. Add in the missed FG in the 3rd quarter and they were pissing points left and right.

Reminded me a lot of the time the Texans blew the 24-0 lead to KC a few years back. The Jags had 4 INTs and muffed a punt - five turnovers - and the Chargers turned that into 20 points. That's only 4 points per turnover.

And Ekeler. Everett is no slouch either. He was making some fantastic plays in the passing game.

Yeah, I don't get the "Chargers have no weapons" angle. Eckler, Keenan, Mike Williams, Josh Palmer, and Everett are a lot better weapons than most NFL teams have.

Granted, they didn't have Williams last night because their coach is an idiot, but the others are still good.

Allen is a possession WR at this point and Ekeler doesn't scare anyone. Herbert doesn't have a Kelce, Diggs, Chase/Higgins, etc. Lawrence had multiple 1st round picks at RB/WR to work with. Williams is the only 1st or 2nd round WR they've drafted in 10+ years.

The fact you think no one fears the NFL's leading TD scorer and receptions leader, as a RB, the last 2 years AND think Lawrence has better weapons tells me all I need to know. Agree to disagree.

Ekeler and Keenan have both been to the Pro Bowl. Mike Williams is a very good WR2...he is likely in the top 10 or so as far as WR2s in the league go...the same can probably be said about Joshua Palmer, and Gerald Everett is no slouch. Teams having multiple Pro Bowl-level pass-catchers is the exception, not the norm. The Bills don't, the Chiefs don't this year, and the Cowboys don't...it looks like the only playoff teams that have multiple Pro Bowl-caliber pass-catchers are the Bengals, Eagles, Seahawks, and Dolphins.

Herbert definitely has weapons, but Mike Williams and Keenan Allen were both plagued with injuries this year.

I think the coaching staff has to be the biggest issue there. The Chargers have so much talent on both sides of the ball and somehow seem to consistently underperform.

I really hate when they review a play for that long and overturn it when they don't have to figure out a spot. There's no way you can call it clear and convincing if you had to stare at it for five minutes.

It's cuz he plays for the Chargers. They probably have the smallest following of any team in the league.

And even more on the second Bills OL that came over to push the dolphins DL's head into the ground. Refs took the easy way out calling offsetting when the Bills players were far more aggressive.
