2000.

Jets took Chad Pennington with the 18th of the first round. Next QB taken was Giovanni Carmazzi vy the 49ers with the 3rd pick of the 3rd round.

Also happened in 1996 when only 1 QB was taken in the 2nd round.

1988 was the last time no QBs were taken in the 1st two rounds. Tom Tupa was the 1st QB taken that year with the 13th pick of the 3rd round by the Cardinals.

I 100% agree with this comment….this is a new GM that knows what he is doing, they need a RB, but all is good otherwise.
