Does anyone know why the Browns HC can't coach from outside of the stadium?

I noticed that Kirk CryBaby called a college game while he had Covid from a remote location. It seems like with today's technology they could give him a live feed of the game and even if there is a second or two delay he could call plays and get them in without getting delay of game penalties.

The talking heads make it sound like it is such a knock to their team to not have him calling plays and I don't understand why it is not possible.
