Until that TD, I thought the browns were about to choke.
They were trying and then Tomlin decided to choke harder

Even if the Browns win, that defense is going to get shredded by the KC offense.

Roethlisberger is up to 409 yards passing with 11 minutes to go on 40 of 56 passing.

All-time playoff record for yards is 505 by Brady in the '18 Super Bowl. Completion record is 43, attempts is 66.

If that had been the Oilers, the field goal would have been blocked and returned for a touchdown and Tony Zendejas would have torn his ACL trying to make the tackle. The other team would go up a touchdown, the Oilers would tie it on the last play of regulation, but without a placekicker they would turn to Cody Carlson, who would lace'em up for the first time since he was Baylor's emergency punter, only to whiff on the kick and cost us the game.

That interception should seal a Browns win. Ben Roethlisberger has thrown 4 interceptions. Still, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense will roast this Browns defense.

yes, I think the Chiefs are happy with this development -- especially their defensive coordinator.

for KC to reach the Super Bowl now.

they have to beat Baker...and Lamar or Josh Allen.

instead of having to beat both Lamar and Josh Allen

The Cleveland Browns got their first playoff win since 1994, first win in Pittsburgh since 2003, and first road playoff win since 1969. Just a week ago, the Browns barely beat the Steelers' backups 24-22 at home. Then, the Browns overcame the absence of Head Coach Kevin Stefanski and some coaches, several players, and limited practice to defeat the Steelers 48-37 in a road playoff game. After an 11-0 start, the Steelers have lost 5 of their last 6 games.

The Browns scored 28 points in the 1st quarter, which is a record for most points scored in a quarter of an NFL playoff game. Their 35 points in the 1st half is the record for most points scored in a half by a road playoff team. The Steelers outgained the Browns 553 (501 passing and 52 rushing) total yards to 390 (263 passing and 127 rushing) total yards, but lost the turnover margin 5 to 0. Ben Roethlisberger set an NFL record of 47 completions for 501 yards and 4 touchdowns, but he also threw 4 interceptions.

With the Browns' win, the road teams won 4 of 6 wildcard playoff games this week. It's amazing how both the Browns and Steelers scored more points than the other 5 wildcard playoff winners: the Buffalo Bills, the Los Angeles Rams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Baltimore Ravens, and the New Orleans Saints.

all in all...it was not a great weekend of football despite expanding the playoffs to six games.

I don't think there were any 4th quarter lead changes in any of the games.

very little 2-minutes-to-go drama except in Colts-Bills.

the Immaculate Reception, Hail Mary, Ghost to the Post, etc..., did not have to worry about being knocked from the pantheon so to speak

Big Ben may be the greatest fat athlete of all time
His fatness lot performance is legendary.
Of course playing against a prevent defense for 3 quarters and 2 starting db out with the covid helped pad the stats
