You have to wonder what effect this will have on Watson, the dude has been humiliated publicly. He may go Tiger and fold up.

After all of Tiger's infidelity stuff came out, he took about 5 months off from golf. His last win before the scandal was in September 2009 and he didn't win another tournament until March 2012.MookieBlaylock said:Kozmozag said:

He also underwent multiple back and knee surgeries and came back and won a major.
But besides the wins or lack thereof he was still at the front front of the sport.
Far from folding up
Poor dude, just maybe 100 million will make him feel better.Kozmozag said:

I was being uber-sarcastic. I have written for a golf website since 2013. The OP was saying that DeShaun is heading for the "let me go to rehab and vanish" mode. Not that DeShaun was going to follow in Tiger's footsteps and become an amazing multi-time champion. As great as Tiger is, and injuries notwithstanding, he really cost himself a legit shot at Nicklaus's Majors record because of his meltdown and the subsequent **** he had to work through. Once the other golfers saw how human he was, he lost that swagger for a long time.Pahdz said:
You really didn't know he won another green jacket?

"Today we answered the lawsuits filed against our client Deshaun Watson," Hardin said in a statement. "Mr. Watson has been adamant that he did not engage in any improper conduct and we strongly believe him. Therefore, the answer to the question of whether we are saying that all 22 plaintiffs are lying about the allegations of sexual misconduct by Mr. Watson is a resounding yes"

Rusty will say anything for a check that clears and some publicity
This is the funniest part and something you're completely missing in your analysis. HOW THE HELL WOULD HE NOT ALREADY KNOW THE NAMES?? How many potential encounters were there? Even if Watson said there were no questionable encounters, how many masseuses did he have in an 18 month period? You bet your ass Rusty already knew all the names and did research on every single masseuse. That's why his firm will get paid the big bucks. His research was done before the names were public.MelvinUdall said:Fore Left! said:

I get it, that may be the case, but it APPEARS that now that he has the names they can at least research these victims. That doesn't mean there aren't true victims, but instead of 22, it may be 5...while that is still awful, but it doesn't look as bad for Watson. Just my $.02 and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
They knew the names already. And you bet your ass Buzbee collected all these lawsuits and did their own due diligence and cleansing. Anyone who had anything that couldn't be cleansed likely wasn't accepted as a client.Fat Bib Fortuna said:
Unless there is serious proof. It's his word against theirs. You have to believe that armed with all their names rusty's team is going to be able to dig up some major league dirt on at least some of them that will cripple their credibility.
I think you'd love the 'Crime in Sports' podcast if you're not aware of it already.Fat Bib Fortuna said:
Rusty is putting together a Mount Rushmore of Houston sports clients.

I got that email, too! I was something like 7,200 a month ago. Magic how that happened.
Please get this guy on the phone, pretend you have no idea DeShaun is in trouble, and start asking questions on what it would take to meet DeShaun after a game or have him come to an event at your company.Thinice said:
