This team has only one person that the other team had to scheme for, Deshaun. No one else is "scary" when it comes to game planning to play us. A bunch of slightly above average to below average talent. Lack of speed on defense and inability to get pressure with 4.

Tale of two halves. It's almost like the Texans were surprised the Steelers made adjustments.

Running game is unacceptable. OL needs to get better, quickly. But if this a weakness, why are there not more screens and quick slants? Keep the defense on their heels a bit. It's amazing how this team refuses to call plays based upon the strengths and weaknesses of the players.

I don't put the loss on run blocking or running backs. Because you shouldn't be running the ball anyway (with running backs).

The Texans are making the playoffs and probably winning the division. Which is their pathetic goal as a franchise.

But the opening schedule was about as brutal as I've ever seen. And a lot of the luck indicators look "good" too. The Texans are last in the league in fumble recovery percentage and 31st in turnover margin.

The division might be hard. But the there's any extra playoff team this year too. 9-7 probably gets you in.

And there's a good argument the Texans just played their 3 toughest games already.

So I was going to post before the Steelers game that I thought the Texans would win. Not because I thought we were better, but because BOB is a survivor...like a cockroach. Just when you think we are done with him...bam 9-7 and a 1st round exit.

I guarantee we will win the game next week. Cockroach lock of the week.

Nope. Cal has made it extremely clear that he does not care about actually winning. Not even sure if 2-14 would get it done this year.

Also, Deandre quickly confirming that that was indeed the worst trade in league history.

Nope

Especially with no fans in the stadium. If they were allowed people would start to not show up but without that option there's no way to hurt Cal in the pocketbook.

No way Bill gets canned mid season or even after this season.

Think of it this way...Bill went from maybe not having his contract picked up to getting an extension, raise, and promotion. They had their out and passed on it.
