Saints got robbed. Screw the rams. I was really pulling for Brees.

Refs robbed Steelers of the playoffs on the same field some 4 or 5 weeks ago.
Bad calls happen. Saints got their share of good ones. Payton and Brees shouldn't have gotten cute and thrown on 1st down after Ginn caught the ball.
Run it a few times to force the time outs and at worst you're up 3 with maybe 40 seconds left and no rams TO's
Saints looked off the last few weeks. Can't say it was Brees only. The whole offense looked out of sync and somewhat timid (by their normal amazing standards).
They did get screwed tho. But they should have put the rams away early

Don't worry. Just watch any game highlights and you'll see a replay. That's how important it was to the rams 'win'.
Maybe the NFL is still punishing Peyton for "Bounty Gate"

I think teams figured out Brees wasn't a big threat downfield as the season went on and his arm wore down, and they started crashing the short stuff to Kamara,

Having 1.5 receivers in MThomas and Ginn doesn't help an offense, hence Kamara with 8+ receptions the last several weeks.

It was a lousy call in a league where lousy calls are common. They still had a chance to get a stop. Didnt do it. Still had a chance with the ball first. ****ed it up. Tough break, but the saints did nothing to help themselves recover from it.
Someone got smart after watching the Saints last week. Took the $$$ and ran

Agreed. But if the refs had made the most obvious of calls, they wouldn't have had to do anything other than run the clock and kick the game winning chip shot.

Since the horse isn't close to dead I'll keep beating... If you watch it from other angles the missed call is a hell of a lot cloert than the one fox kept pumping.

What about high hit to a defenseless player? Would anyone had criticized that call?
I'm not saying it was the right call. Just that it wasn't as egregious as everyone is making it out to be by using that angle that doesn't show where the ball was.
