That's much easier for him to say than "I selected her because I found her attractive".

Sean Spicer once explained that he knew his tenure as Press Secretary was over the morning after Melissa McCarthy portrayed him on SNL that first time. The Press Secretary relays the story, he cannot become the story. When that happens, that job is over...and rightfully so.

Spicer was typing his resignation letter that Sunday when Trump called and Trump refused his resignation. But he was gone 5 months later. Spicer knew that whole time, and Trump realized somewhere along the way, that his tenure should've ended immediately.

When the Press Secretary becomes a joke, especially among your own people, you have to cut bait. It doesn't matter if it's his fault or not.

My comment didn't mean to imply that they were making money honestly, or to even imply that their value was measured by the money they make. It was intended to be critical of them (but to also wish I could be rewarded as I'm bumbling but not worth billions).

The outcome Trump 2 is getting from his admin is directly correlated to his skills as a leader and his ability to evaluate talent. Both of which seem to be pretty low.
