where do you see anyone expressing angry he is being executed? The mental gymnastics from the right and the straight up lies about those of us raising objections to CELEBRATING.. just whatever. Flame and lie all you want. I'm done with the moral bankruptcy in here.

There is nothing positive about this and, frankly, anyone excited about watching this is disegusting.

The positive part is that a terrorist is being killed the same way he murdered 13 soldiers in cold blood. I wish we would have shot him in the stomach and dropped him in the woods somewhere to bleed out painfully before anyone knew his name but I don't really care if they want to broadcast it.

I believe the live stream is to put radical jihadists on notice; not for us to celebrate.

I think that's the same reason the Taliban gives when they broadcast beheading people with machetes. Weird to mimic their behavior and think we're better than them.

We are better than them. You know why we are better than them? Because even though we know with 100% certainty that this POS committed murder, we still afforded him a trial and he's been propped up rather comfortably by taxpayers for well over a decade now. Your brothers in arms over in the desert that don't know what toilet paper is and who prefer adolescent boys to women don't afford anybody that dignity.

Doesn't mean that we don't need to punish those that commit acts of mass murder simply because their stupid cult commands them to do it in the name of a goat raping child molester "prophet".
As someone who grew up in the ultra low murder country of Saudi Arabia, their "cult" also wants them beheaded - immediately.

I'll probably watch. I'd watch Lindsay Clancy take a bullet to the head too. I sometimes like to watch night vision aerials of Islamic Jihadists being splattered by drone and apache heliciopter strikes...I don't think that's crazy. And you could make an argument that Nidal Hasan and Lindsay Clancy are actually MORE evil and depraved than some poor shmuck from Pakistan who was either coerced to join the militants for fear his family would be killed, or because he was dumb, brainwashed and desperate. I kind kiiind of sympathize with some of them.

There is something about witnessing justice being served to the absolute worst monsters in society. And I do think this type of punishment would serve as a possible deterrent.

But ultimately, it's the "justice system", not the "deterrent system".

My brother in arms?

What the **** are you even talking about?

I don't agree with Lord Hegseth, so I MUST be an evil Democrat!

Surprise! Never voted Democrat in my life. Imagine that. Someone can have a brain for themselves and not be led around by a leash.

That's what Trump has done to y'all. Anyone that disagrees with anything you say HAS to be the enemy. Everything HAS to be an attack on you. If they aren't MAGA then they must have TDS and be a terrorist.

It's crazy that I continue to get personal attacks for saying that we shouldn't live stream someone getting killed. That's the society y'all want to live in. If you don't enjoy watching someone get shot to death then you must be a terrorist.

This is exactly why I can't support today's Republican party.

I don't really give a damn one way or the other on whether or not the execution is made public. The part I would highly favor being made public is the bullets being dipped in bacon grease prior to being loaded.

The reason the lefties have their knickers in a twist over this is that it's not enough for them to feel morally superior. They need everyone to know that they feel morally superior.

You watched a copy secretly shot from a ****ty pre-iPhone cell phone. His execution wasn't televised or meant to be seen by the public.

I also spent some time at the place where he eqas executed (never went in the building but an outpost on the same grounds. JSS Justice). Inside one of the guiding you could see where Saddams cronies had tortured people. Still blood stains on the wall after all those years and where people had scratched into the concrete with their finger nails.

I'm torn over all about this. First, I have zero reservations about shooting this ****er. However, traditionally a firing squad execution for military members was seen as an honor of sorts. I'd prefer hanging him, give him the slow hang method too so he has plenty of time think about it. However what i do not necessarily agree with is televising it, or streaming it, or making it available for the public to view. (Or whatever the hell they plan on doing). Let the victims families observe, let military officials observe, but this shouldn't been seen by everyone in the public. We don't need to make this a spectacle. In fact, as many of you like to say in regards to other murderers getting their names all over the news and no one caring about the victims, let's not forget the victims and remember their names. This turd doesn't need to have his death associated with the media circus it's turning out to be. Just shoot him and bury him quietly at 0200 one morning and be done with him.

Then the other part of me is just thinking "F*** it". Let's sell raffle tickets to be a member of the firing squad and wipe out the national debt.

Only 2 countries have public executions, they are Iran and Afghanistan. You want the US to join that group? It is beneath our values and only makes a martyr of a terrorist.

if it helps your side win, you should be thankful. I honestly don't care one way or the other if this is televised.

I just get tired of those on the left supporting every known evil on this planet and calling it good! The only reason the left doesn't want it televised is because they are an advocate for criminals and evil!

The reason the second post is leading in stars right now is because it's an anathema to our values as a nation. This will blow back and the livestream will be cancelled.

Trump doesn't want this type of negative press right now.

Yes but broadcasting it emphasizes it. Makes it a bigger propaganda tool for the terrorists. Just take the dude out at 0200, shoot him and bury him. This does not need to be made into a ****ing spectacle. (Which it's already too late it seems).

I completely disagree. There aren't levels of martyrdom.

We definitely should have just popped a cap in him a minute after the finding of guilt. We didn't. Oh well. Not a pantywaist so this doesn't raise one iota of give-a-**** for me.

I know for a fact that there's at least one poster on this site who was on the base during this nut bag islamist's shooting spree.

I know because we were on the phone and he had to let me go because of it.

I'll bet you he's more than happy to watch this thing online

One of my best friends was on base at the time. Took a while before he could let his wife know he was OK and wasn't close to the event. But those few hours sucked and I have zero sympathy for this POS terrorist and whatever may befall him.

Wouldn't bother me if every single shooter accidently gut shot the pile of steaming sht and he bled out over several hours.

I may be wrong, probably am, but I thought only one rifle had a live cartridge.

did the people beheaded on livestream by al qaida, isis, taliban, etc. kill 13 people? i remember watching one beheading and it was some haliburton contractor or something. Doesn't seem like a mimic to me.

Cept they are executing innocent women, gays, Jews, and Christians. We are executing hyper-violent terrorists who slaughtered innocent men and women...people who served their country...people who had spouses, and children who were emotionally shattered and will never be able to see them again.

The liberal male feminists are crying over this more than they did the brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk and it is very revealing.

Again though, with Islamists, you HAVE TO contaminate the bullets with bacon grease or pig blood or fecal matter. They are happy to die for their genocidal pedophile "prophet". You MUST let them know that they will not be seeing him because they will be contaminated and deeemed "unholy" as soon as they are shot. Otherwise, it is simply not a deterrent for these violent animals. Another option is to stuff pig feces into their mounths and shoot them. But they must know that they have been deemed unworthy of Islamic "paradise" in their final moments. THAT is the real punishment.

For this discussion, it's not relevant that the other side celebrated Kirk's murder. The only question should be, 'are we better than this'. I would hope the answer is 'yes we are', but maybe we aren't.

Public hangings and executions were a long-time staple of law and order, to deter potential future criminals/murderers.

This is the way the law should be used, not some quiet/secret injections off camera.

I only wish the (mythological tale but still fun) bullets were dipped in bacon grease, Pershing-style.

On top of this the whole village went to the executions. Probably left a mark on impressionable kids: Dont be evil or you will be killed in public.

It worked, and still works.

Fake empathy/false compassion is the worst kind of emotion in the world (well, greed/envy are pretty bad too, but I digress). It's a big problem in both the political and judicial worlds today (but I repeat myself).

This televised death penalty is up there with the first century Romans who crucified their criminals at the edge of town that would be seen by the most amount of people. Also it reminds me of the taliban who stoned women to death in the last dozen years, or the throat cutting of journalists who they believed were spies.

This isn't something we should do ever.
