It's one thing to be happy he's getting executed.
It's another to want to watch and celebrate it.
Society is ****ed.
You don't have to watch. No one's forcing you.
This actually used to be very commonplace. Like Psycho Bunny said. This isn't something new. Many people don't like to face consequences for crimes, whether they are done by themselves or others. Maybe if we had more of the hard consequences, the crime would go down. Maybe not, but we keep everybody bubble wrapped these days.
I find it interesting though that many who are so appalled by this, Democrats, has no problems for the baby being aborted up to birth. Literally being ripped apart and/or left to die on a cold table. So you're gonna have to count me as one of those who doesn't give a frick for their hypocrisy. I also find it interesting that these people have no problem with all the violence with BLM and Antifa, but somehow this is too far? Celebrating Charlie Kirk and the fact that Trump almost died? But a man that actually killed innocent people is too much.
If this was your child or your husband or your wife that was killed by this man, I would think you'd want to see this. Just because they're strangers to you doesn't mean others don't.
And yes, some Republicans won't want to deal with this either. No one has to watch.
Again. You don't have to watch it.
I am a conservative Christian and staunchly oppose all the things you mentioned that Democrats supportI agree those are horrible. But I also think public broadcasting of this execution is wrong for many of the reasons stated.
And you should know that your commentyou don't have to watch is eerily similar to the arguments for slavery (don't have to own them) and abortion (don't have to get one).
