Whatever the reason for his absence is at this point…it's been too much time with very little communication from his team at a time when they need every possible opportunity to fire up the base to show up and vote. This is going to be a negative for Talarico, it's just a matter of how much. If he's just sick…then his campaign has handled it poorly by allowing other narratives to form.

I disagree on that point. We've had a SCOTUS justice for years with T1D (though she gets almost all decisions wrong).

He is a weak frail man with T1D, not mentally/physically unfit to serve due to that.

He was in NY on the 28th for an event hosted by DeNiro, flew back to Dallas the 29th, appeared virtually the 30th, and indicated that the night before was when he visited urgent care in Dallas and got diagnosed with flu.

Who the heck watches or wants to watch a Senate debate? If you are wanting a debate to make up your mind, maybe you shouldn't be voting at all. The policy positions are already well known and easily found between these two. A debate won't change that.

Fair point and one that I agree with somewhat. Being a Senator is arguably more demanding than being a SCOTUS Justice, but less demanding than being a US Representative constantly running for office or the POTUS. Individuals with IDDM vary with respect to fitness. talifreako doesn't look all that healthy to me, but I don't know any more than what we can all see and what has been publicly disclosed.

Paxton: why did you say "insert bat**** crazy far left policy position that Talarico is on public record saying" - i.e government sponsored abortion clinics, getting rid of O&G, abolishing prisons, arresting parents for not sex changing their kids, etc. (fyi these are also positions you support as a Talarico voter)

I'm so thankful the Democrats ran this guy could have gotten bad if they ran a real candidate. I'm sure they didn't expect Trump to fail so much that would make Texas in play. Just shows you how dumb the dems can be running a gay fem boy with anti Christian views. I think Paxton will be great for the deep state. I'm sure he is already compromised so they will be able to use that to get him to do exactly what they want. Paxton will not be a trend setter and will be years of status quo.
