It's a Korean Converse Ad with a person with a white dress holding a pair of black Converse All-Star sneekers. They say it's racist and connotates a lynching. Not sure whether I can post it here or not.

They've already pulled the ad, but here it is:

It was a public ad, so I think it's ok to post it.

I'm not sure how you look at this and think 'lynching'...it would have never crossed my mind. But they got the Good Good treatment and pulled the Ad.

IMO Nike was the one that made it into a story by pulling the ad. I bet the nutcases who made a stink to begin with would have been ignored

Apparently the Chief Marketing Officer at Converse is black, so if he didn't see a problem with it...

Would be funny if the left wasn't trying to destroy society. Until this thread, I had only seen the cropped version used to fuel the faux outrage, so I actually was not aware of the real ad.

On the flip side, Converse is owned by Nike so if Nike continues to get financially pummeled because of it....then carry on. Although I feel bad for the folks at Converse.

Additional context -there were thousands more black on black gun deaths in the last year than lynchings in the said 86 years posted above. But, God forbid the media discuss violence within one ethnic community

And, the ad was to be seen mainly in Korea, so shouldn't the social justice warriors be pouncing on the SoKors instead?

Well there is a huge history of Koreans lynching black people in this country.

I still don't get it.

This is just further proof that we have it better than any group in human history.

This is the screenshot they used to try to make everyone angry. So a selective edit where they said it was clearly meant to show a klansman next to a person being lynched. So stupid and dishonest.

Google it and ALL you will see is the cropped version.

I don't do drugs and don't drink, so.....I can't even see anything wrong with it in the least. Not cropped. Not full size. Not at all.

They pulled the ad and apologized, so it went beyond social media. They discussed it on The Five yesterday, of course Jessica could see the lynching. The normal people had the same WTF reaction most of us had.

It's manufactured racism because there isn't enough real racism to keep the political and academic machines going. When your entire career, existence, and livelihood is based on fighting something that isn't really there, you've got to start finding it where it isn't or you have a truly existential crisis.
