There are several people in this thread that have stated that they don't want to be equal. They want men in charge like their father was and his father before him. My wife got tapped as primary candidate for exec role at her company. She interviewed with both the CEO and COO (males). Both interviews were conversations about the job. Zero questions about feelings or b.s. personal crisis crap. Her final interview was with the Chief HR lady......she starts asking my wife all of these feelings questions that have nothing at all to do with anything. Keep in mind the CEO and COO had already effectively hired her at this point and passed her to HR to approve it.

She got the job but having to muck around in the gutter with these b.s. questions by HR as the final interview was insulting to her. And it should be.

Anyone who has interviewed for higher level jobs has experienced what interviews at that level should be which our conversations. All of my recent interviews in the last 10 years were conversations and not HR questions. Thankfully.

Men have always had it MUCH harder than women. Western Civilization only exists because millions of men spilled their blood. American Revolution? I'm advocating a society where men do the things they are naturally good at and women do the things they are naturally good at. There will be outliers with both and there is nothing wrong with that.

The problem as presented which you seem to keep ignoring is that the outliers are becoming the norm which is going to lead to failure. And it already is with birth rates, men abandoning college, huge preferences for hiring women over men, etc. The natural balance is getting out of whack.

I don't want oppression, but I absolutely want to end DEI and for males to dominate society. Men have earned it and proven they are the only ones capable of building, maintaining, shaping, and steering societies. Women should be able to have jobs and equal rights though, I agree. Not because they have earned it or deserve it, just because it's the right thing to do. Although, I believe society was better and that people were happier when nuclear families were more intact and women largely worked the home and family (much more fruitful and rewarding and admirable than just about any corporate job btw).

While I wish they couldn't vote, because they are generally much less informed politically and culturally, and tend to prioritize the wrong things (like killing their offspring above all else), letting them vote seems to be the moral and ethical thing. Sucks, but is what it is.

Despite what libs choose to believe, men and women aren't interchangeable. Average differences in body, personality, interests, emotions and how they "fight and disagree" are big enough to matter once you're dealing with groups, not one person. When women are the majority and running the show, the "fighting and disagreeing" style shifts. Less in-your-face confrontation. More exclusion, reputation hits, and "everyone has to agree." You can find that in the research. You can also just watch the places that went heavily female. That is a very destructive dynamic in companies.

There's a playground study I read. They watched kids at recess for months. Boys got into a lot of physical scrapes. Girls almost none. After recess they asked every kid if they'd been in a fight. Almost none of the boys said yes. A bunch of the girls did. Press them and it's "Julie said she didn't want to play with me." Girls counted that as a fight. Completely different idea of harm.

Mock it if you want. Pretending men and women act the same in groups has a cost. Feminization of our society is going to be our downfall.

I'm advocating a society where men do the things they are naturally good at and women do the things they are naturally good at. There will be outliers with both and there is nothing wrong with that.

The problem as presented which you seem to keep ignoring is that the outliers are becoming the norm which is going to lead to failure. And it already is with birth rates, men abandoning college, huge preferences for hiring women over men, etc. The natural balance is getting out of whack.

Men have always had it MUCH harder than women. Western Civilization only exists because millions of men spilled their blood. American Revolution? Mountains of male bodies and unimaginable horror and suffering. Civil War? Mountains of male bodies and unimaginable horror and suffering. WWI? When weren't legally allowed to fight in WW1 or WW2. They weren't even allowed to be in the military full time until after WW2.

Women weren't allowed to hold construction jobs until the 1970's. Even then they were really only allowed to join unions.

You realize women were not legally allowed to fight in wars until recently, right? They weren't allowed to work in unions until the 70's (most construction jobs were union).

You complain they didn't take part in those things, but they weren't allowed to. Now that they are allowed to, you don't like the result and want to go back to men dominating those areas.
