I am in that bucket.

I paid for my wife's Masters degree back in 2002. It cost about $25k and back then I was making just around $62k a year. No loan.

Then last month I paid $23k for my daughter's first semester in college which includes housing/meals. No debt. FR year will cost $50k and each year after that will be about $35k.

Not just for women, I paid for my son's 4 years in college also. No debt for him or me. He is working now so he pays for himself.

Oh and in between I did an MBA which cost me $125k and I paid for it myself as well.

I don't like debt. Avoid it as much as possible.
