Looks to me like clear self defense this time. It's possible she may not have been justified in first pulling a gun, but the man was clearly the aggressor here and she tried getting away.

Meant to click the Solari face next to it.

The second video makes it more clear. Even with the gun aimed at him and being told to get back, he kept following her and coming at her.

If that's my wife, I would want her to shoot him. That's a clear threat.

That's not clear self defense IMHO and I'm all about gun rights/self defense

An argument in a parking lot over a spot isn't a good case to brandish and then fire. I know that people can close distance pretty quickly but it doesn't look like he had weapons or was aggressive when the shot was fired. The fact that she got out of her car initially, was talking to others and appeared to want a confrontation doesnt look good

Shes black though and probably wont be prosecuted regardless but I'd like to see more evidence

He got killed over a parking spot? If there ever wasn't a "hill to die on" situation, this is it.

Was it smart? No

Was it threatening and stalking? Doesn't appear to be.

Incomplete facts and not great video.

I don't see a threat there and wouldn't have taken the shot.

Stupid people like these are why I usually park farther out. I don't know why parking lots make certain people into real a-holes.

Lots of dumb on display from both sides of that deal.

First, I wouldn't get into an argument with a black woman over anything particularly something trivial like a parking spot. They are completely irrational and don't know how to control their emotions and she's carrying and pointing a gun. He should have just let it go. Now he's dead. Second, her life has taken a bad turn no matter how this comes out, she's in the legal system now and her fate is in the hands of a DA and potential jury/judge. Stupid on her part for brandishing then shooting.

People are allowed to get into arguments. People are allowed to move about freely in public.

A woman telling a man to get away is a prima facie case for deadly force?

Does this same standard apply to sporting events if a man a woman start arguing?

In line in for a ski lift?

If a woman tells a man to get away, he must? Or he dies?

Not a valid self defense claim, IMO. Several required elements are missing. Most of which is reasonable belief of imminent death or serious bodily harm. Proportionality of response to whatever threat was presented. Also she escalated by holding a gun as she was getting out of the protection of her car.

Why are you leaving out the fact that she had a gun pointed at him telling him to get away, while he followed her around multiple cars as she continued to back up and tried to get away from him? He still kept stalking her.

Who knows....but that level of rage, emotion, whatever isn't over a parking spot. It's over years of people telling these individuals that "black people, especially women, think they are entitled to everything" and "white men are the root of all of my problems and are constantly looking to keep me down".

That or both have miserable lives and spouses at home. Whatever the cause it wasn't a parking spot....it was something else and unfortunately both went to a defcon level 1 over those triggers at the same time and typically bad things happen after that.

Need more facts but if you are backing away with a gun and someone ignores that and keeps coming at you then they do intend to harm you, possibly with deadly intent.

Just based on the video, he looked to be aggressive, the woman was backing up and he kept approaching. I don't have any issue with the woman's actions.

Now, that could change with more facts, but based on the short video, I don't think she was in the wrong.

It's clear your opinion but doesn't make it right

If we're going on opinions, I think he was treating her as somebody like him, worked up over a parking spot and acting like an idiot but still half way logical. He would've known he wasnt a threat and didnt think an irrational black woman would shoot him for them continuing to verbally argue. Made a very wrong analysis of the situation and was thinking I haven't done anything to actually be shot, so I won't be, then he was. The timing of the shot is a very bad one since this argument had been going on for a while in more compromising setups. When he was shot he was not looking like an immediate threat with his hands at his side that needed to be neutralized
