The primary underlying issues are general voter stupidity and a large portion of citizens who shouldn't have the right to vote being able to, IMHO.

Absolutely. At least half the population wouldn't be voting if it were up to me.

To me it's simple. If you vote for a democratic candidate in any statewide or nationwide election, you are voting for socialism and loss of freedoms is close around the corner. Some people may want that and that is fine. But for those who don't like a candidates personality and will vote for a democrat or just not vote don't understand where we would be headed, then wonder how we got there.

Never, ever vote for a Democrat. They hate you and want you dead. The latest example (in a district only created by a judge sleeping with a Democrat litigant to resolve a redistricting case).

Unless one wants America to fully become akin to Mogadishu, never vote for a Democrat under any circumstance.

You have to be living in a series of echo chambers if you think this midterm election is going to join the likes of GWB right after 9/11 in the "exception to the rule" club regarding the midterms being a win for the opposite party. The times that has happened the president's approval rating % has been in the 60s. Trump is in the 30s. Not gonna happen.
