The sheriff of Marion County (where I went to high school) just tore into a reporter for asking a question about a politically charged incident in another county that certainly had nothing to do with the child sex sting they were there for.
I really don't understand what the reporter was thinking in this instance.
Over the past decade or so, I have really gotten sick of journalists framing themselves as some brand of heroes of democracy. They remind me of the San Francisco Prius drivers on South Park.

Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods exploded on a reporter who ignored the subject of his press conference -- a sting conducted to capture child sex offenders -- and asked about an unrelated case. pic.twitter.com/ZoCGHlqXSK
