I've been convinced for quite some time that Democrats find these low IQ loons, radicalize them if they're not already radical, and prepare them for public office. The apparatus is already in place for little to no opposition for this (election fraud being one) and many in public office look the other way from the corruption, usually because they're doing the same thing. The low IQ loon then profits from bribes, grift, NGOs, etc.

So Platner is a candidate they recruited from a casting call, like AOC?

There has to be more back story on that.

Also, regarding the beard guys voice, it's more annoying than RFK jrs.

Was going to say the same. Wasn't she basically picked from a casting call?

Drop the Bartender trope. She's from a well to do family, was raised in an agreement neighborhood, went to the nice schools, and has a degree in economics.

She may not be well spoken at times, but she's extremely well educated. The broke bartender was a cosplay

Then I'm highly embarrassed for Boston U which is where I believe she got her "Economics" degree. There is nothing extremely well educated about her, man. She's a f'ing moron and so are the people who elected her.

This video also proves you can go to Harvard and Yale (where these folks did) and still be a moron. Schools like that have a significant number of admits based on being social justice warriors or simply being rich and connected.

Yes, the Ivy Leagues are an absolute joke for an actual education. And they know it themselves which is why they are starting to bring back entrance exams again. They are clown schools.

Not quite, there are definitely some brilliant people there and if you don't have connections or fit a social agenda you have to be truly exceptional to get in. They thrive on exclusivity. Once you take out the politically connected, big donors, and social justice agenda folks though they end up with a small batch of true admits on merit and those folks tend to have insane qualfications that the other folks can ride off of the value they create in their degree.

I don't doubt they still get a small group of elite kids (like almost every other school does), but their curriculum is a joke once they get there. Massive grade inflation and no rigor is what they are known for now.

They've had to cap A's because everyone gets an A for showing up.

And we now have reports lately of large numbers of Ivy freshmen who can't do basic math as an example. That was the trigger for at least one school to reimplement the SAT / ACT.

And if this website is a good example, Texas A&M has a bunch of graduates that can't spell and don't know the difference between plural and possessive.

Higher education has become about nothing but making money for the universities over the past 30 or 40 years.

8th graders in 1960 were more educated than most college graduates today.

Anyone familiar with Josh Seiter? He's a social media influencer who pretends to be an insane liberal to fool and shame other woke liberals. The guy in the OP sounds almost EXACTLY like his "satirical efffeminate liberal" voice lol.

I think a lot is us no. Its just that between fat fingers on small keypads, autocorrect, and lazy ness, most people dont care as long as that get there points across.

Even our High Priestess of Grammar Tanya93 (RIP) quit being so anal about it and enjoyed the debate.

I'm amazed they gave this interview. I mean if you told me it was a joke I would have completely bought it. The smugness. The complete lack of vetting. Laughing it all off. These are 2 Ivy Leaguers btw and they sound like complete idiots. Just a train wreck in motion.

Thoughts

1) We've reached a point in this country where people are no longer ashamed of their immorality and will go even so far as flaunting it. According to the whiny liberal these people are more real.

2) Electing leaders who range from mentally disturbed to outright psychopaths and criminals, people who are just plainly wicked and self-serving will lead us further into chaos and ruin.

3) Get your popcorn.

This is my fear, Graham Platner is obviously mentally disturbed. There is no telling what could trigger him into extremely violent acts.
Women romantically linked to Platner describe 'toxic,' 'unsettling' conduct: New York Times
quotes from the article

  • Lyndsey Fifield, a Virginia conservative who reportedly dated Platner from 2013 to 2015, said Platner would discuss violence and could be rough with her, though she clarified that he did not hit or punch her
  • Fifield also claimed that the Senate candidate once, as The New York Times described it, "twisted her arm behind her back, shoved her into a bedroom and held the door closed from the other side

Because it's all an act it's all a cover-up. She auditioned for the part and she does it well.

Her attributes that got her the backing had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with education, intelligence or rational thinking. She got he backing because they know she is an ignorant money grubing minion that will do as she is told.

Platner and Talarico are both leading in the polls, despite all of their crazy being out in the open. Western civilization is truly hosed.

Yet neither of them will win.

One can only hope.

Polls in June are worth about as much as preseason sports in college sports. Second, after five months of Paxton using Talarico's own words against him he'll lose by probably 8-10 points. Nothing about Talarico screams Texas. This isn't going to be a close race.

Regarding Platner as feckless as Collins is losing that seat to an actual Nazi would make for great political theatre. Don't want to lose that seat but it would be entertaining.

I don't see how that is entertaining

I see that as horrifying

1. we likely lose the Senate
2. Cannot confirm Judges or new SCOTUS Justice
3. Socialists take over every Senate Committee
4. Maine just elected a literal Nazi scumbag

I'm 50/50 between "the Republicans need to win" and "**** it, burn it all down". Him winning satisfies the latter.
The federal government was never meant to be this powerful.

It looks like this guy was picked to be the opposite of Walz, Newsom, etc. He was supposed to be the left's J. D. Vance, a macho, military man. They glossed over his resume because they thought he could sell the image.

Absolutely valid. Would still put a school like A&M over Ivy though. Those Ivy kids would **** themselves walking into a freshman Chem class with 400 other kids.
