Is this anything like him thinking of himself as one of the two genders, but hates biology? Or maybe thinking of himself as a heterosexual, but hates dating women?

I can't believe that this heretic has any support whatsoever from anybody, Christian or otherwise His whole political existence is nothing but a big FU to anything decent or based in reality.

For all of you conservatives that keep saying Paxton is a horrible candidate, the guy has been staunchly conservative as our AG and unapologetically so.

If his history as AG is any guide, and he is elected to the senate, he would be the most conservative senator Texas has had an over 30 years.

And that includes Cruz.

It may be time to get over the fact that he is a sinner, unlike all of you I'm sure, who are pure as the driven snow and have never done anything wrong in your life.

Or his opponent in this race, who is clearly pure of heart.

...and for all the people complaining about candidate choices, who did they want? Where were they? Paxton entered this to get Cornyn out, which we needed. Wes Hunt, who I do like, was a worse candidate than Paxton for this job. Worse at speaking, minimal experience at legislating and dealing with our laws, and without the long track record of actually doing things for Texas.

It's gonna be fun to see what all comes out about the fake Christian Talarico around September. Still will not be surprised if some parent of kids at his "church" claims he diddled them.

Say what you want but there's definitely a tide turning of momentum in the past few weeks. Could be conservatives "coming home" after the primaries or people simply realizing that Talarico is a ****ing insane heretic fruit cake.

Yes, I think most of the undecideds right now are Republican voters that have issues with Paxton ethics or marital stuff and need a minute to come to terms with voting for him. The further we get from the primary runoff, the more that I think will come home. Some will not vote in the election at all or skip the race on the ballot, but I do not see them switching over to Talarico. I don't think there are many undecideds that will go to Talarico. If you were anti-Trump, anti-Republican, you aren't undecided.

I've been saying that, long before Talarico admitted it.

He changes everything he doesnt like about Christianity. He is very vocal about ending 'Christian Nationalism'...even though he can't define it; just that he doesnt think it's ok for Christian ideals to influence legistation.

Explain to me how that can be someone's opinion, who supposedly dedicated their life to Christ. Either you put Christ first, or you didnt. There is no in between.

And what is it about wholesome values, that would make someone say, 'those ideals can't be considered when choosing to support or reject legislation'...much less a supposed Christian. It's a ridiculous position to take, and extremely hypocritical/phony.

He is the prime example of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

But even though he's unabashedly anti-Christian in his stances (based on scripture, not my opinion), I still hear people mention him as the 'Christian Pastor running for office'.

I heard some people on the radio talking about him the other day. They mentioned how interesting it was going to be, to see the 'far right' deal with a guy that was a 'super Christian' running against the GOP.

The ignorance makes me want to pull my hair out.

Wake up people.

Christian or not, it's obvious you're being lied to by your candidate. If you're good with that...ok. At least admit what he is.

Christian ideals influencing legislation?
So to remove anything labeled "Christian idea" you're left with what?
  • Thou shall murder?
To remove any and all trace of Christian ideals you're also by default removing all expectation of civility, moral decency, and basic courtesy. Ethics and accountability are out the window.

Btw everyone of these videos of the fake Christian freako are played all over Ingram, Watters and Hannity etc so those that constantly watch Fox news, who may be on the fence about Paxton, will make sure they vote to keep the weirdo out.

Exactly.

It's just a nebulous bucket, that he can throw legislation he disagrees with into.

He's making up a label, demonizing that label, and then he can associate anything he doesn't like with that label.

The crazy thing is that he's demonizing the very thing he supposedly gave his life to.

It's insanity. And so many lemmings are falling for the obvious ruse.

but Btw, those videos of the freak are no where near the social media feeds of the following:

- America-hating communists who want to see this thing burn
- single issue voters who will vote for communists because they think it will help them crush their babies' skulls more freely and easily
- single issue voters who will vote for communists because they think it will save the planet from the existential threat of climate stuff
- all the alphabet crazies BLTQSPIA++ and whatever weird stuff they're into
- mail harvest class - those who are lazy and depend on free stuff, but need motivated leftist NGOs to vote for them

I have no real issue with Paxton. He's had moral failings. So have I and everyone else here. No, I've never had an affair.

I also don't hate Christianity and I'm not lying about who I am and what I intend to do. James Talarico wants to subjugate Americans. That's immoral.

Talarico is literally talking himself out of winning this. Paxton has barely said anything about him. That's how bad of a candidate that Beto 2.0 is. He's a beta "male" that pretends to be Christian, but not any manner in which most Christians think of our faith.

Paxton has tons of baggage, no question, but Bill Clinton showed us decades ago that the personal infidelity stuff just doesn't matter. The Dems have no one to blame but themselves for all of this...again.

Bill Clinton and Ken Paxton's infidelities seem to be completely different things.

As I understand it, Paxton had an affair while married but AFTER he and his wife had agreed to divorce. Perhaps I'm wrong, but this was my understanding.

Bill Clinton had ongoing, constant affairs and accusations of rape during his entire marriage, and his wife covered for him. She even blamed the women and went after them publicly, while he was using his position as president and physically using the oval office to fool around.

Clinton is an unabashed pervert. Virtually no one on the planet will argue that.

If the Democrats are willing to make adultery and fornication be legal disqualifiers from office (including anything that IS sexual relations along with an accompanying codification on what IS IS) then by all means.... we can disqualify Paxton as well.

But since that would disqualify a higher proportion of Democrats than Republicans from office, they will never do that.

Texans should not vote for Paxton because of his divorce and alleged affair. They should vote AGAINST the insanity that comes with Democrat candidates like Talarico who has NO foundational belief objective morality and is an embracer of the post-modernist tripe of the political left.

Lay out what Paxton believes and supports vs what Talarico believes and supports. Which one is moored to reality and objective truth more? Cleary.... it's Paxton. Talarico's ilk won't even give you a coherent definition of what a woman is.

Paxton will win, but it's hilarious to see people try to paint him as some uber conservative dream. He's very friendly with the plaintiffs bar, and isn't even a mediocre lawyer. Wesley Hunt would have won this going away, and wouldn't embarrass us in the Senate. Can't say I'm confident that Paxton will be any good in the senate, but I'd rather see him ther than continue AG, although I'm afraid we missed an opportunity for a real upgrade there.

He was so corrupt that Comey's FBI and Merrick Garland's DOJ did absolutely nothing with the "evidence" that was sent to them. Given what the FBI and DOJ under Biden were doing to anybody they could get their hands on that was even friendly to Trump, there is zero chance they would have passed on trying Paxton if there was actually any evidence that passed the smell test.
