I'm 56. I expect that in my lifetime we'll see civil war in one of the Western European countries, be it Britain, France, Germany or Spain. It will be the first step towards becoming an Islamic Republic. One of them will fall before the rest have their "oh ****" moment. The destruction of industry in the name of the climate religion is only part of the story. Their willingness to invite barbarians into their home as a means of propping up their economies was a far worse mistake. Brussels. It's a massive techno bureaucracy that wants to run every aspect of Europeans lives. The original idea was to tie all of these countries together enough that WWI and WWII would never happen again, but as with most things the bureaucracy (EU Deep State) took a life of its own and then prioritized non-humanistic goals and strategies to achieve those goals.

People are worried about SkyNet taking over and exterminating humans while the EU has tried to do just with actual policy to cull humans (natives anyway) in favor of mythological green policy and Muslims.

Funding Ukraine is the least of France and Germany's concerns. We're maybe 30 years away from Muslim majorities in both nations. Those populations have chosen to end their own existence. Same for Great Britain. Everything else is a make believe problem.

This why the US needs to wash its hands of Europe and tear up NATO. Theyve so completely wrecked their own economies and a bedrock foundational part is they assume when things go sideways the US will be responsible for their defense. Which is happening now.

Time to tear up NATO and draft a new pact that addresses current events. Which I eludes russia, mandatory defense and target numbers for active troops and equipment And ties trade into the equation.

Im pretty sure I argued at the start of this conflict that Russia sought to drain Europe of its resources and that US should remove themselves from any of these obligation based treaties.

They would have lost years ago but the US and Europe dumped billions of cold war hardware into Ukraine plus funding. Im not surprised European nations are not able to continue funding because their defense budgets have been intentionally under treaty requirements.

If they dont want to oay to defend themselves we should be under no obligation to carry that responsibility.

No. Every attempt made under Macron the guy was kicked out. Like 3-4 different presidents under macron were removed for even attempting to cut spending.
