There's a lot of scrubbing going on with this guy. I watched a clip of him too talking about how Christ isn't necessarily the only path to salvation and there's validity to all religions. Now gone and can't find it anywhere.
All good. I'll dig further. It has to be out there somewhere.
It's not that hard to find -- he said it on the Ezra Klein show I believe.
This is where I'm at. I need the proof as that will eliminate the first argument of "he didn't say that". Once we can agree he said it, then it'll simply come down to whether they want to continue the reinterpretation of scripture. Nothing we can do if that is the path they want to go down at that point, outside the Holy Spirit waking them up.
"Matthew 25 tells us exactly how we're going to be judged and how we're going to be saved. By feeding the hungry, by healing the sick, by welcoming the stranger, by visiting the prisoner, nothing about being a Christian, nothing about going to church, nothing about saying the Lord's Prayer, nothing about reading the Bible, just helping others, just loving. I mean, it's remarkable when you go back and read that passage. But they need each other. Prayer needs action and action needs prayer. And so I don't I don't want anyone to com to misunderstand what I'm saying because you can be out there doing the work. Um and if you're not connected to something deeper, you're going to burn out really fast. When I said earlier that the love of God and the love of neighbor sustain each other, they are in relationship. They are united. Um you know, this is the the entire mystery of of incarnation is the divine and the human being brought together into one union. "
"Jesus tells exactly how you and I and every one of our fellow believers how we're gonna be judged and how we're gonna be savedby feeding the hungry, by healing the sick, by welcoming the stranger."
Starts at 15:20
I'm having a hard time watching that in one sitting. Going to have to take it in chunks. Wow
Either is knows better and is intentionally deceiving (demonic), or he also has been fooled (is under the great biblical delusion written about in Thessalonians) and is mistakenly leading others astray.

he wants to be a politician before he wants to be a Christian. He is bending Christianity into something he thinks will get more votes at this moment in time.
Talarico made a comment that it is our works that will save us. Nope. Don't need to hear anything else.
It is a flawed/tainted view of Christianity.
Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar's
Jesus taught us how we, as individuals, should live. It was not proposed as a system of government.
Turn the other cheek with Iran, China, etc... and let's see how that turns out.
It's unbiblical. Like I've said before, Talarico is a fake. Dems have replaced the fake Mexican with a fake Christian.
If you really want to play in Texas, maybe try a real hispanic or a real Christian.
This....the guy is a false prophet and distorts scripture to justify infanticide among other evils
“It was miraculous. It was almost no trick at all, he saw, to turn vice into virtue and slander into truth, impotence into abstinence, arrogance into humility, plunder into philanthropy, thievery into honor, blasphemy into wisdom, brutality into patriotism, and sadism into justice. Anybody could do it; it required no brains at all. It merely required no character.”
Joseph Heller, Catch 22
James Talarico is another liberal politician and pastor who reinterprets Scripture in light of modern science, philosophy, and social values because he thinks the Bible is not infallible. He emphasizes social justice, inclusion, and systemic reform as integral to living out the Gospel. He prioritizes racial justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion, immigration rights, poverty alleviation, and environmental stewardship because he thinks social activism is a direct expression of the Gospel. I hope John Cornyn, Ken Paxton, or Wesley Hunt keep Texas red this November.
Daily affirmation that white liberal women continue to be a problem.
It's time for a change alright. Women like this that want to virtue signal and post their life on their whackadoodle facebook pages so their goofball women's group can toast each other in their group feel good circles need to change. Change to a normal person that doesn't require daily affirmation for basic life events or maybe go pet your 31 rescue kitties.
"I've voted for republicans my whole life and I'm done. We need change. Voted for Low T. Turn Tx Blue."
The way I interpret people proudly posting crap like this on their FB pages: "I'm not getting what I thought I was voting for before, or not seeing enough resistance to the socialist roll from republicans, so now I'm voting for full blown marxist regime instead". Bring back the wide open borders. Bring back all the criminal release programs. We were truly heading in the right direction with ACAB and defund the police. Pleaes DEI my children out of opportunities they work for, and please make sure my pilots and surgeons are DEI. Give me trans in my daughter's sports and locker rooms. Raise my taxes. I need more government. Please take more from me and give away more free stuff because we need more government-dependent free loaders to achieve true socialist utopia. Govern me harder because we need change. And the most important change that trumps them all is freely crushing the skulls of the babies I make because the heartbeat bill is too early to murder my children."
