And now NM is going to open an investigation on the property now that it's public a Republican owns it. Where were have they been all these years on this topic?

Never would have happened if a Republican had not purchased it. All these Democrats now demanding that he allow authorities dig up the property looking for bodies.

Lol.

They used the 4 years under Biden to move all the fetuses, dead girls and choked boys with missing feet from Rehoboth, Kennebunkport and Massapequa to New Mexico.

I saw something somewhere else about missing feet...I don't know that story.

One of the anonymous "tips" the FBI got about Epstein accused George HW Bush of raping little boys and eating their feet.

It was marked as "not credible" like a huge chunk of the Epstein files because they were simply called in hoax "tips."

Oh yeah, you told me that before.

LOL.

Maybe the Epstein ranch in New Mexico is really where they buried all those First Nation bodies they didn't find in Canada.

Just starting a conversation.

Argue all day long about the process of rich people buying land and the lack of clarity about the actions that took place on the ranch when owned by Epstein.

In politics, perception becomes reality. Nobody in their right mind would have touched a property owned by Epstein and then decide to run for public office. Add to it a property that has allegedly included felonies that haven't been investigated. I mean....possible bodies?

On optics alone, it's messy. And it gives your opponents too much ammunition. It's baggage and represents poor judgement politically. No political advisor or consultant would advise their client that this was a good idea. Or if after the fact, wouldn't advise them to be as open and "clean" as possible. The purchase / ownership was always going to come out. Just when.

Amateur political hour on this one.

Wait...

So he bought a property that was for sale...

Gave all the proceeds to the victims of Epstein...

And...

He's some kind of bad person?

Oh...and I get the optics...they're directed by the far left...
You can turn off signatures, btw

Nope. As a politician running for office, given how "hot" the Epstein stuff is, he should make smarter moves than this. It's clumsy. Why in the world would he think this was a good idea? Buy any other ranch and dedicate it to victims. But don't buy the one that will probably be tied up in a state investigation for years.

If he wants to be elected, this won't help.

I'm always surprised by the different levels of delusion people have.

It's not delusional. It's strategy and operation. I work closely with those that work in politics (politicians and actual consultants). I'm surrounded by campaigns and know what strengthens them and what pitfalls remain. This would never be an advisable move for any candidate. Not worth the headwinds it creates. Real or perceived.

Huffines likely not going to win but it will not be over his family purchasing a ranch for sale in New Mexico.

On one thread we have comments that keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally ill is akin to labeling them as unclean and not part of society.

Then we have a politician whose family buys a ranch in New Mexico from a dead man's estate with the proceeds funding accounts for victims of the deceased landowner, and people say he must wear a golden star to denote his sins and he is disallowed from even running for elected office.

Total consistency.

That casino that owns the car Bonnie and Clyde died in? You can't gamble there because it's a bad look.

That casino is not running in a primary for elected office either.

OK, you got me.

I can tell that none of you have either been a candidate for office nor responsible for running a political campaign. I voted for Don Huffines. He was my state senator. I'm referring simply to the blocking and tackling of a winning political campaign and candidate.

I called Huffines campaign office this morning.

They assured me they have located 3 new voters / supporters to replace the ones he lost over this.

Whew, disaster averted.
