That article sounds like a hit piece from another campaign. The New Mexico ranch was purchased at an auction 4 years after Epstein was dead so I don't see any reasonable connection. But wow what a ranch house.
Most wealthy families I know have vast real estate holdings to enjoy and as an alternate investment. These properties are usually held in an LLC, often with a different LLC for each property.
This comptrollers race will be interesting with the big money Huffines running against Craddick. The Craddick family has represented the oil/ gas/ pipeline interest better than anyone over the years in the Texas Legislature, with her Dad Tom Craddick repeatedly leading the charge to defeat All meaningful eminent domain reform in Texas for decades.
So expect some massive mud slinging from the Craddick campaign or its associates.

No, I found out about this months ago when I was a huge proponent of Huffines. I've talked to him and his wife a couple of times and we line up politically except for school choice. I hate the bill passed last year because I feel it's going to be used against home schoolers and private schools. I think he did a great job as a Senator, exposing the Dallas bus scandal, and fighting the COVID hoax. His opponents may use this, but I don't think they had a clue about it until now.

The entire Epstein thing is Unfathomable in my mind. Not humanly possible for people to do to other people the things that went on for political and monetary gain. ...and yet Houston and BCS are huge sex trafficking cities. Everyday. Everyday the unspeakable is happening. Around the world, in America, in our home towns. How is it not stamped out with extreme prejudice?
I'm aware of Houston's role of course, but BCS?? What am I missing?

I'm suggesting it be thoroughly investigated by the authorities based upon what was disclosed in the Epstein files including a possible incinerator and bodies on the property. Why a pro-life, family values Catholic who is running for office would buy the property is beyond me. I'm not even Catholic but I'd want an army of exorcists to clean the property before I even touched it.

Acting like purchasing a ranch in NM as if Huffines had purchased a going-concern pedo porn palace including its workers, toy collections and vast reserves of Diddy oil.
I agree with others, this feels like a troll. Absent some as yet unknown nefarious angle, not sure why this was even worth a topic…
Edited to add: looks like NM land commissioner and Rep Melanie Stansbury are ginning this up, likely on Reddit.
Here's how this thread is supposed to work. OP comes out about this real estate transaction and pretends to be a lifelong Huffines supporter who now has grave concerns.
Without providing additional details, they troll the board to get people to say "it's just a real estate transaction, nothing to see her".
Then there is a pivot. To the ranch manager now works for Trump and the FBI never searched it for bodies. Lots of vague innuendo would be trotted out.
Then there will be a demand that the entire ranch be dug up. If Huffines opposes any of this in the slightest, he will be painted pedo protector.
This game plan will be followed over and over until election day.

While I'll never miss the opportunity to take a dig at Abbott, I definitely voiced my support for Huffines there, while most were mocking him. I sincerely hope this was just an unforced error on his part.

Weird that there was a property Epstein owned for close to 30 years that was not investigated by the FBI. Since he sex trafficked so many women (just to himself and Ghislaine Maxwell) I would think that would be a place of interest.

What are you talking about? They did raid it. There was a search warrant executed years ago. There's a ****ing documentary miniseries on Netflix with a whole episode about it.
