Yeah, I hate it. I try to ignore it and just do the things I like to do. I hate that that's the way things are now. I blame social media for a large part of it.

No, not just social media, it is really ALL MEDIA. StIring the pot is how they make money and the more disaster there is in the news, the more they make.

The progressives I've known have always been political, even back in the 90s. 60s

It's just that conservatives are paying attention and pushing back on their BS.

Hippie liberals (I was one) go back to the 60s. Love Peace and Rock/Roll. We were very stupid.

Sure seems that way. It's apparent that our economy is an artificially propped up sham. Social security is a ponzi scheme. All of our institutions are corrupt and full of fraud. Even sports seem rigged and manipulated by the media and Vegas.

I just got back into watching Spurs basketball this year after Pop's TDS driven rantings drove me away for a few years.

Most of the games are covered on Fanduel. Sean Elliot is still there doing the color and has been and still is my favorite sports broadcaster. He spends his time adding fun content, not just about the game, but basketball trivia, travel, food, whatever. He's endearing and is great entertainment while watching the game, and nothing is ever political.

Then there is ESPN. The last game I watched that was covered by ESPN, it wasn't halfway through the first period, and they were already talking about the shooting in Minnesota. It just sucks to have that crap injected into everything.
The best way to keep evil men from wielding great power is to not create great power in the first place.

We have a deficit because of fraud - that's what the political class doesn't want the average person to understand. I include the billions annually spent on welfare and society support (hospitals. Schools, courts. Jails. Insurance fraud, etc) for illegals in this category as well.

It is called totalitarianism...when all parts of life become subsumed and orbiting the state/political.

This is how it comes in to being...the state is assumed to have a part in everything...when the authoritarians gain control of the state then it becomes dictatorial. We are very close
God loves you so much He'll meet you where you are. He also loves you too much to allow to stay where you are.

There are very few truth-seekers left in Media, but I recommend Jordon Peterson on the center right, and Coleman Hughes on the center left.

It's refreshing to hear these two guys actually debate their guests respectfully, even when they disagree with them.

I think It's the schools, they radicalized at least a couple of generations, then social media came along to spread the radicalization and it took off like wildfire and divided the country more and more.

Schools haven't done anything. It's really just social media. People can say whatever vile thing they want and don't have to look the other person in the eye. I see it from both sides and it continues this tribalistic thing where the other side is evil.

You don't see it from both sides. This isn't tribalistic.

You've shown your hand.

I am just one step left of Pinochet on the political spectrum, but I don't really believe that this is correct. Plenty of MAGA acolytes and TDS Never Trumpers that do the same thing.

I think that if we got rid of 75% of the fraud in the US government, we would have the national debt paid off in 5 years.

We are in a war. The two sides are fighting to the death (of this country).

The latest Olympic athlete psyop (reporters asking leading questions to athletes they know will say something mean about Trump) is just par for the course.

The minnesota riots were all astroturfed campaigns planned months in advance using NGO money (comes from the US budget).

They are planning to win the mid terms this fall. Everything leading up to it is a long game psyop to bring white suburban women back to the fold. They lost them during the 2024 election and want them back. Starting violent riots and then having the law enforcement come in and fight them gets used by the media to make the point that Trump and the administration (and all right wingers) are radical and dangerous. ANd it works. FB and IG etc are chock full of the same women (and men) making the same posts they did during the BLM riots (again all astroturfed fakenss to turn black people and white women against Trump). And it works every time.

If the Ds win the mid terms we will have two years of fake impeachment inquiries. If they win the 2028 Presidential electin they will arrest Trump, Vance, half of his administration (Miller and anyone involved in sending illegal immigrants home).

I'm sorry you dont like the battle that is going on...but it is a war that will someday permanently divide or destroy this country. Maybe understand whats going on and figure out what side you're on.

Social media is the largest contributing factor. Gas lighting everywhere and exposes people to other people's opinions that truly hate. Unfortunately, the hate will only grow in the coming years. A culture war is coming.

I agree but when the mainstream media went almost completely left there had to be a reaction or the agendas just would have totally followed their lead . The countereaction was too slow as it was imo . Many of us that were focused on making a living and life for our families were getting pulled left and didn't even recognize it until it was well underway… like 10-15 yrs .

Speaking for myself I was 10 yrs out of college and working before I started to understand what was really happening … thanks to Rush Limbaugh.

You said it better than me. Democrats have played the long game and they see the end goal is within reach. We're a couple cycles away from them having full control...the WH, super majorities in both houses, and something like 7-2 majority on the SCOTUS (and the next few justices will make Kentanji look like an intelligent constitutionalist). Everything has been planned and scripted.

I'm constantly pointing out to people on social media that the content they are reposting is coming from botfarms mostly in India, China, and eastern Europe. It's not even that hard to tell where it's coming from. One page I see people share frequently is "Gavin Newsome 2028," which is run out of Malaysia.

Worst thing BY FAR to happen to this country in modern times is the racially charged oppressor/oppressed narrative. I worry that we cannot undo it.

My Instagram feed is probably 85% liberals acting violent and crazy or black youth doing the same. I don't see the equivalent types of accounts showing republicans or whites/Asians acting the same. Maybe my algo is not giving me endless vids of republicans causing mayhem and violence in the streets or Asians looting convenient stores en masse and brutally assaulting the Pakistani or Indian owners?

Turn off the news. Don't go looking for the things to be mad about. Vote for the candidate you think is best for YOU. Been doing this for 20 years now. Does it make a difference to the country? I dunno. Who cares. It makes a difference to my peace and well being. Yesterday after the Super Bowl I found out there was some kind of alternative super bowl show. Had no idea until then. Living your life and focusing on things that you can change and that impact your happiness is a wonderful thing.

Nothing has to be political h less you make it so. I enjoyed the Super Bowl. I enjoyed the half time show. I enjoyed all the commercials. It was a fantastic few hours spent with the family.

The Premium Board loves Kellen Mond and they get all bent out of shape if his detractors provide political reasons for disliking him and thinking of him as a man of low moral character. I would understand premium board posters complaining about politics invading their Aggie Sports space.

But it would feel ironic if someone on Premium complained about Aggie Sports being too pervasive and seeping into too many aspects of their daily lives. I similarly find it ironic that a bunch of political junkies might complain that there is too much politics in their lives.

This thread simply goes back to the meme below which was enabled and accelerated by the left infiltrating and co-opting our cultural foundation and institutions.

Cloward-Piven was hugely successful. The push back by the right at this point is rearguard action.

This is what the elites want- a country completely divided. Thats why they pay so much to all forms of media & these other organizations. Meanwhile they're all continuing to abuse children and participate in their other sick rituals. As long as our country remained divided, they're gong to continue to get away with it.

Here's the deal...it doesn't have to be this way. But it starts with you right now. Just resist the urge to add political nonsense into every single conversation with people. When the other person opines with their political nonsense, resist it and keep the subject only on the topic of conversation or just stop the conversation all together.

Most of you won't, of course, but that's how it's done.

This is probably the worst advice on this thread, at least from those of us who consider ourselves conservative.

We are here because WE HAVE NOT SPOKEN OUT OR RESPONDED.

Now that we are beginning to talk back(thank you President Trump), the other side is beginning to feel the heat on their decades old ****ty ideals, and they don't like it.

If anything, we need to do even more exposing of those people. EVERY CHANCE YOU GET.
