Miracle on Ice hockey star Mike Eruzione just BLASTED Team USA skier Hunter Hess for not being proud to represent the United States…

Quote:
"All these athletes should be pulled from the team," another wrote. "You don't go to the Olympics and trash your country."
Added X user Kevin Miller: "Count me in the boycott."
The backlash comes as the Milan-Cortina Games are already under scrutiny, with protests and political tensions spilling into Olympic venues and broadcasts.

I'm glad athletes are exercising their first amendment rights that our countrymen died for to support retaining our constitutional rights here at home like being able to protest ice without being executed, to not have our homes invaded because we speak out against the administration, and to exercise our right to bear arms.

People just be complaining because they don't like their beliefs to be challenged.

If a white pastor did that, they would lose their tax exempt status

No, they really don't.
The "median voter" is way more worried about living expenses still being ridiculously high due to inflation caused by Trump, Biden and their liberal fiscal policies than what some spoiled ****tard...of any political leaning...says while doing rich kid **** .

They - just like the groups they align with- love to accuse Trump of being divisive, but then they go to another country and become divisive themselves, proving that they have no idea what and who they're supposed to be representing.

They are representing their country, warts and all. America is not holding hands and singing kumbaya at the moment, we're going through an existential reset of who we are. That's playing out right now in athletes, artists, and boardrooms. They're allowed to be citizens. And I can still disagree with Blake Treinan and hope he can fix his close.

Disagree. They're not there to amplify what THEY BELIEVE are warts. They are there to represent their country. If they want to be political activists, go do that. True, they are free to say whatever they want - including the bashing of their own country - but they are of a small handful of countries that are able and willing to do so, and as such, look like simple fools on the world stage.
I have no interest in cheering for activists who wear a uniform they are ashamed of. Either be proud of being from this country, or go find one you are proud of.
This type of attitude is destroying the purpose of the Olymics, which is for athletes to honor the purity of fellowship and sport without the animus of political disagreement for a short time. They're not changing any minds. They're exacerbating division.
It's unfortunate you don't understand this.

Well, you could believe this or you could go look at approval ratings from the most Trump friendly pollsters and see how fast he went underwater following Minneapolis and Greenland. Most people aren't watching these events with Lee Greenwood playing in the background and lonely tear of patriotic pride rolling down their cheek.
