The only place I hear about Crockett is here on Texags. And I haven't paid attention to those threads.

Why? The reason I suspect is that the far right media uses her as a foil. So if you follow far right media, then you've seen a lot about her. Whereas the left/centrist media does not talk about her very much at all.

I never heard of Fuentes until he was drug here by the resident leftists. Believe it or not, many Maga people are working or busy living their lives. I guess I am considered Maga since I voted for Trump 3 times. I have been voting straight ticket R since the beginning of this century because the left has been going too far for me to even consider them. The left has gotten worse the past 10+ years (basically since Obama).

I've seen video on Twitter recently that Fuentes was at Jan 6. People think he's a fed plant.

It was a little interesting last night to read a FB post asking for money from Talarico in the wake of the Crockett announcement and the need to win the primary against her, and then reading the comments. Many people were saying "I wish I could vote for you both." Or, "you should now run for governor instead." Or, "I was going to send money to you now, but I regret to say that I will now be supporting Crockett." Who knows if these are actually real people or bots or disinformation actors.

A well-fought well-executed primary can make a candidate stronger. However will Talarico now have to hew left in order to win the primary? Or can a more centrist candidate win? The GOP has the same dilemma. Vote for far-right MAGA tainted Paxton, or "moderate MAGA" Cornyn?

My support for Democrats doesn't come from a place of "I love Democrats." It comes from the place of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." I.e. anti-MAGA.

Reagan would not agree with trumps stance on Russia. He would agree with Trump on most of his other policy positions. By wide margin, especially his handling of federal workers. Trump is much much closer to Reagan than someone like Talarico.

There's an interesting dichotomy that you fail to grasp - the vast majority of dems are not self critical of their own party. Their dogma is power and they turn a blind eye to the crazy episodes even when they lead incrementally toward more power. A very large group on the right, and your hypothetical explicitly makes it clear that you understand this, can be self critical of their own party. Furthermore, the critical nature of those discussions is what happens here. There's really not much to critically analyze from democrat positions. They're off the reservation at this point.

Irrelevant. The issue at hand is that you vote for the party that advocates, has already done, and will continue to do what you accuse Trump of doing.

It's factual history. We have all of the receipts. Your solution to stop a perceived threat you see with Trump is to vote for the actual, demonstrated threat we have with Democrats.

The only way for you to logically reconcile this is for you to vote for a third party candidate, or not vote at all otherwise you are voting exactly for what you say you fear by voting MAGA or democrat.
