Let me tell you a little story about the Dixie Chicks.

. Please, they are now just the Chicks

That's debatable, especially the little fat one.

I used to not mind Tucker, but it seems like he's flipped a switch to holding completely outlandish takes. I didn't listen to the Nick Fuentes od, but I did listen to him on PBD's podcast to know enough about him. Nick is the type of guy that the more of a platform that he gets, the more the media will propagate all of the uneducated into thinking that all Republicans are basically him.

I honestly think that both Tucker and Candace have been paid handsomely by someone to create a divide among the party. It sucks because as crazy and far left as the Democratic party has become, their major voices/influencers are at least unified into turning our country into complete crap. When is the last time anyone has heard a prominent Democrat voice denounce Sharia Law, the invasion of Muslims/Islam, their party pandering to illegals, transgender ideology, etc? Bill Maher is about the only one I've seen do it on a regular basis but his version of a Democrat is dying a slow death.

100% correct. And I think it goes back to MAGA. The problem is that Trump is not conservative.

He just wants to prop himself up, even if that means abandoning conservative ideals.

He is a liberal, but MAGA thinks he isn't.

Just look at the posts on this page on Cheney's death. He's the most conservative VP we have had in my lifetime and people on this board hate him.

LOL at Trump being a liberal. He's certainly no Conservative, but Trump is an out of the box "Republican." Without him on the ballot, we'd be in big trouble as we would have had a 2 term Hilary Presidency, followed by who the hell knows in 2024. None of these old school conservatives would have had a prayer in the last 3 elections, with how far left a lot of our society has gone. We've got another true radical liberal to beat in 2028 when Gavin wins the primary, but I think Vance will be able to do it. A Vance/Rubio ticket will take us back more towards a true conservative administration. Vance will have the MAGA vote along with the center vote.

If you don't think Trump is a liberal, I don't know what to tell you.

He spends like a crackhead with cash.

They spend like crackheads with cash, too. What's your point? I never mentioned them because I don't like them, either.

Just one thing. This reaction to the Tucker interview itself comes across more than a little unhinged. Watch the blamed thing. There is nothing there that one should favor canceling over, or suppressing. In fact, it looks bad to call for that. It took two hours, but is very watchable as kind of chatty. Besides, very much prefer to know what is really being said as always.

This internal clash in the right developing is beyond bewildering, but if you want to start to get an idea what is up with it, watch the interview. Some things driving the dissident right and Gen Z are starting to make more sense. They are not discussing what one might expect----- and one thing would like to know is if what is said at the 1:07 hour minute mark is true. And 1:08:45.

He started out as Trump booster to the max, and yet ran into some surprising forces. Now probably has fallen off the far end but its not so cut and dry. Not if what both mention are factual to any degree.

This whole thing is extremely disturbing. Many of the elements here can see why the young men are turned off it, and very skeptical. The even today reminding of the fiasco of the 9/11 war and how that started and unanswered questions just drives that home further. Gen Z is totally skeptical and and even scoffing toward established "clubs" of power currently having credibility is what keep hearing on the board, and when you see this stuff you see why.

It is made far worse by many in power being war profiteers, and yet at the same time the possibility also that types like Tucker and Fuentes are grifters, opportunists. Agit-prop mills.

Yet all of it does provide needed illumination, and sometimes covers things you know full percent the legacy basically govt pocket media won't put a light on.

Bottom line: GenX needs to get some notion of this split happening, as many are already aware---we have learned how wicked and self-serving many institutions and governments are. But what we have not seen is what happens when an upcoming generation that is all they have known.

I think both Bushes were far more conservative than Trump. They weren't perfect, but they were conservatives.

Trump is not.

W was so conservative that they voted for Clinton and harris? Does not compute.

Actually Bush 43 didn't vote for Clinton, Biden, or Harris. He openly stated he voted third party.

That's a distinction without difference.
