See today's article about Trump "waging war on wind" and how it's killing union jobs, etc. Red man is bad.

https://www.wsj.com/us-news/trumps-war-on-wind-has-this-construction-crew-stuck-15-miles-out-at-sea-e5a6f1d9?st=MrgBaS&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink

Then read this article when Biden shut down Keystone Pipeline project. The "Controversial" project was such a bad thing, etc.

https://www.wsj.com/world/americas/what-is-the-keystone-xl-pipeline-and-why-did-president-biden-issue-an-executive-order-to-block-it-11611240342?st=TXaunn&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink

Green tech is a myth. We would be much better off if the left would acknowledge this reality.

The only green tech is nuclear.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

You right.

But in all seriousness I agree. Plenty of pollution free energy for the taking if the tree huggers would understand science (and safety).

That 1st article read like grade school gossip and provided ZERO relevant information regarding the situation.

1) Who is paying for the project?

2) How did Trump "stop" the project? Did he block funding or did he revoke a permit?

3) Who would own, operate, and receive funding once the project was completed?

4) Why is the project seemingly so damn expensive?

5) What environmental impact will the project have?

6) How will the project impact existing shipping lanes?

7) Is this new tech and how does it work? And why is it better than current alternatives?

8) (Reserved for additional questions.)

The WSJ purchased by Rupert Murdoch.

To my knowledge, he is considered to be a right winger.

I've had a WSJ sub for several years. It has noticeably slid more to the left in the past year or two. That would coincide with their first ever female Editor in Chief who got the job in 2023. I do not know if that is her doing, but logic would say that's the case.

Trump's gonna get, at least, a billion out of that $10 billion lawsuit against the WSJ and the very editor y'all are speaking of.

Murdoch has already said he wants to settle, and I have a feeling it will happen, but not before Trump hurts Murdoch badly. $785 million to the POS election company is one thing, but Trump's gonna double and maybe triple that.

IMO, it will be bloody.

She just couldn't wait to publish that article.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.
This is backed by data.

No question, in my opinion.

Many of the articles are more left slanted, and not always obvious. For instance, there was an article a few days back refering to the 'heroic" story of a "gazan" mom getting her kid to US for medical treatment. The choice of using a Gaza mom/kid was obviously used to gin up sympathy on one side.

Many more stories slanted against Trump, tariffs, etc.

Been subscribed most of the last 40+ years - part of that was due to eductional rates as a student and the "professor" kickback.

I will not be resubscribing, and if I were still teaching would no longer tell students it is relatively neutral.

Yeah, I won't be re-upping either. They are still not nearly as bad as almost everyone else but it has definitely changed.

Some bimbo put out a climate change article a few weeks ago that was devoid of any substance that I was surprised to read on their platform.

He's more of a risk taking change agent. He's a populist.

Well, that's going to be a problem, seeing as how the left doesn't really recognize any reality.

Rupert Murdoch supported Obama and Hillary. He is no right winger.

And his sons are radical leftists.

He was a huge supporter of Barrack Obama over John McCain, but then was a supporter of Mitt Romney over Barrack Obama four years later... ... but also claims to be libertarian... He seems all over the place personally, supporting Hillary Clinton for Senate but then reluctantly supporting Mitt to save us from socialism.

Professionally, he's made billions of dollars and become one of the richest people in the world by buying media companies that oppose the 99% of other leftwing biased media. Owning controlled opposition has been a money-maker for him, because it gives him a monopoly- it's not an indicator that he himself is a "right winger" personally.

I don't disagree.

Increasing market share, or circulation, might be his primary objective instead of "liberal bias".

The media are our enemy. They are the most powerful entity in the world and they are full on Marxist/globalists who do nothing but spread propaganda.
