Was there last November and central Paris was cleaner than when I was there in 2001. I was not looking forward to the trip at all and was very pleasantly surprised with the city. I'm sure there are run down parts, but what large city in the us doesn't have rough areas that most people don't want to visit?

I don't speak Arabic so it would be difficult to understand what people are saying in France.

Uhhh, No. That worthless turnip you voted for opened up the border and flooded this country. There are foreigners all over the place, and I'm not just talking about Mexicans. Just keep your head in the sand, though.
FFS. Everyone who visited just said it's isolated. You can be a jerk all you want but keep on making crap up about me. Such a stupid and petty response with alll others saying it's isolated. Attack them or gtfo.

I'm talking about your comment that started with "Much like the US". It's downplaying the flooding of foreigners into this country. It's not "a few isolated areas". Maybe Paris is "a few isolated areas", but the US isn't.
Wrong. My comment was how Us citizens get all up in arms about social media videos when the videos are either faked or outliers. Now, to rebut your response, I don't get out of College Station very much. I did do a road trip to Boise recently. Hit up two state and six national parks. I didn't see a single homeless person anywhere I stopped. Nor do I see them very often in Brazos county. So yeah, it's not a nation-wide epidemic that you so passionately want us to believe, likely do to your social media consumption. Now resume GTFO until you can apologize for being a d bag.

Like locusts (but actually evil), liberals destroy every city they turn blue in relatively short order. Hell, they destroy everything they touch. From education on down to lingerie and swimsuit mags.

Foreigners, not homeless. You said "narrative of invasion" in your original post, so I was talking about foreigners. You libs love downplaying the flooding of foreigners into this country allowed by the turnips administration.

So many ppl just believe whatever aligns with their worldview - that which has been orchestrated by whatever media they consume. It rarely, if ever, aligns with reality. I've been in Europe several times over the past few years. Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Finland.

Not one of them comes close to touching the homeless ****holes in the U.S. like parts of Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Fran, etc

We stayed in a hotel in Suresnes. From there when you cab into Paris central area you pass through woods called "Bois de Boulogne". As you drive past, you see prostitutes on those street corners waiting for customers. It is pretty open that you see them just waiting.

So if you want some "fun", here's where you go.

Was there in August, 2nd time this year didnt see this but dont doubt it exists outside the Peripherique ring road. Did go for a run a few mornings through one of the big parks and saw a few hookers, but thats it. There are some areas by Gare du Nord that I would not call unsafe, but can be intimidating with all the African immigrants. They just stand around all day and talk loud and do nothing, so it is more an annoyance than anything.

I visited in 2023. It was pretty good, I did not find Islamics doing their thing, Parisians were not as rude as I had expected,I did not get my pocket picked. Women don't seem to like wearing bras.

All in all, nice place.

I was in Paris a little over a year ago, it was ok. People were more polite than I expected, but we stayed in the tourist areas. I didn't encounter any Islamic things happening. We didn't get robbed. Women still didn't like wearing bras. The city was filthy, much worse than I expected, it always smelled like cigarettes, and it was an overall average experience.

All in all, the experience was average, the city wasn't that great, and I won't be going back. The Louvre was awesome, the palace was awesome, but dealing with the city makes it a return trip not worth it.

You admit that your experiences are very narrow yet proclaim it's not nationwide. I have lived and travel all over this country. It's nationwide. Maybe don't speak so authoritatively on things you know nothing about. Millions of poor illegals were unleashed on this country in a very short time. It shows.

Used to have work meetings in Paris 2-3 times a year, parts of the city were really nice but it seems like their was always some type of Terror threat or train stabbing from some crazy jihadist group, haven't been In 10-12 years and never plan on going back - parts of Europe are turning into a real **** hole

I have been fortunate to travel extensively throughout Europe for work and fun. That includes many of the major cities. I will always rank Paris near the bottom of European cities. The people there are generally rude and dislike Americans and I found the food to be pretty mediocre outside of the high end restaurants. There's also a lack of genuine culture there. Paris is arguably the most overrated city on the globe.

Florence Italy is where they'll try to pick your pocket. Especially the gypsies. I even had one try to give me her baby to distract. You gotta be really forceful in your voice with them.

We traveled to Italy last fall. Great time to go, Venice had hardly any tourists, but everything was open and the people were glad we were there.

The problem isn't necessarily the absolute number of foreigners in France (around 10% of the whole population), it's the trendline.

If you are just looking at points in time it may not seem as big of a problem at that point. These anecdotes support the idea that it isn't a big problem. But in reality the french culture is being wiped out. It's only a matter of time.
The best way to keep evil men from wielding great power is to not create great power in the first place.
