American living in Spain here. We get a lot of news (from liberal MSM and a great selection of conservative YouTube streamers).
The UK is lost, but only a few people are admitting it. The Tories (conservatives) opened up the floodgates for the illegal immigration that has become a cancer throughout the region. It's light years beyond Biden-level consequences.
The Labour government is a total abortion. Keir Stamer, the PM, is the poster boy for ineffective, detached un-leadership. His cabinet is incompetent beyond belief. Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage, has soared in the polls, but there will not be another election for 4 years.
The economy has tanked, and the government is feckless and refuses to do what is necessary to address this dilemma. The exodus of wealthy people from the UK is alarming but not surprising. The middle and lower classes are economically devastated. Taxes are high and destined to skyrocket.
Crime is out of control. The police are emasculated and lack the political will and physical ability to enforce anything.
Free speech is under obvious attack. Censorship and prosecutions for social media posts are commonplace.
Absolutely nothing is going right in the UK. Think "this is what the US would have become had Kamala Harris won the presidency."
