Dems are a varied bunch.

1. Loud screamer-protester types, ate up with it and mainly want to stand out somehow (purple hair anyone?). Clueless as to the actual causes.

2. Leave me alone I vote D because my pappy always did. I hate everything politics.

3. Lazy and unhappy, gullible to whatever sound bite passes the ears, and looking for the freebies.

4. Planners, bureaucrats who work relentlessly for the cause of taking over. Their spots in the politburo are already guaranteed or they already have enough money to safely buy their spots. Freedom despisers.

5. Intellectuals, academics, media types. All in, and arrogant enough to think socialism/communism just hasn't been done right yet. They think they'll keep living the good life(ie - not like the masses), but more so this is where the arrogance might backfire. They do not have a guarantee and remember, there are limited spots at the top.

1-3 are wildly uninformed and have no knowledge of history and also, no idea of what life would really look like under full "Democratic " rule.

4 is playing the long game and made great headway over the past few administrations (Trump 1 included, since he was surrounded by them #4s).

5 are the most useful of idiots and dangerous.

Problem is many of the people you describe "that believe in different things" believe in the same base beliefs Joseph Stalin and Mao Tse-Tung adherents believed. Both of those were said publicly by Dems in Congress. AOC said the one about reeducation and she's going to be on the stage in 2027 when they start figuring out who's the tallest midget for 2028. Yes the Republicans have their idiots in people like MTG but there's nobody on the Republican side of Congress advocating for reeducation camps for Democrats where we would teach them basic economics or taking away kids because their parents took them to drag shows.
