Doesn't help me to see someone so uninformed of history they think western centric thinking will never occur in these countries.

Wait until you hear the Saudis let women drive and you can get alcohol pretty regularly in the UAE.
Awesome my man. When did we go in and do a regime change in those nations after demanding unconditional surrender?

Baby steps guys. It won't change in our lifetimes but maybe for our kids.

Not long after oil was discovered.

Some of these places have simply been more… compliant… than others and their success monetarily for that cooperation is quite evident.

The ones who have rebelled have been fraught with the most issues.

Again, history is something available to every one to learn and benefit from.

Iran could be a nearly complete transformation within a decade. It is not an Iraq, Afghanistan or Syria.

You obviously didn't understand my question because that did not answer it at all.

I answered your question. Who the flip you think helped them get the oil out of the ground?

I asked you when we went into Saudi Arabia or UAE and did a regime change

You must have missed it.

Quote:

Petroleum was discovered in Saudi Arabia in 1938 by SoCal, after Ibn Saud granted a concession in 1933.[44] Through his advisers St John Philby and Ameen Rihani, Ibn Saud granted substantial authority over Saudi oil fields to American oil companies in 1944.
.

If you don't like Wikipedia as your reference, then do your own research.

If you don't thing the longevity of the current lineage of Saudi kings is pure coincidence with the first king giving Americans a sweet deal in 1944, then I can't help you understand this.

Hate the Islamic countries all you want. But some are more amenable than others, and it's smart ones who gave up jihad for oil profits.

And yes, I know radicals have come from Saudi, but the rulers have been primarily compliant in Saudi, UAE, pre Iran Islamic revolution.

If we don't drop the bunker busters, nothing will really be accomplished. Yes, just the bunker busters, nothing more , nothing less from us now. Get it over with.

It's not going to look like Germany or Japan after WW2. Doubt they'd ever surrender and there's no way to change them by occupying their miserable country.

Yeah it probably means a regime change and US bases in Iran forever

Nah that won't happen but unfortunately it may take that to keep backward ass, blood thirsty whack jobs (like the ones in charge now) from being in a position where they can wreak havoc on world order like they do now

Like I said, Iran is the bad guys

I guess we will see. Ultimately it will probably be up to Israel. If they feel we need to put bases there to guarantee their security, then that's what we will do. I look at the rest of the region where we've gone into and I feel like this is the most likely outcome.

But yeah, Iran is like Thanos and America is like the Avengers

Germany did an unconditional surrender in 1945 and we have had troops, bases, and free trade there ever since.

Japan gave unconditional surrender in 1945. We wrote their new constitution, and have had bases, troops, and free trade there ever since.

So, Tel Aviv air base for the USAF?
This does not make sense. Why would we need surrender or approval from Iran for for a base in Israel?

correct- the US Air Force already has access to any base in Israel.

there are many times there are American aircraft on Israeli bases.

below is USAF F-16 with the Israelis

It hopefully means freedom for the people of Iran- no more crazy Islamic rule of law that holds their society down. Give those people the freedom they desire and quit acting like your some big super power because I basically your a peasant country the way you currently exist
