Army Parade is way different than I imagined. It's a a Thanksgiving Day Parade like presentation with a history lesson. Not remotely an autocratic military thing.

I think the left is going to be disappointed they didn't get their Literally Hitler moment. .

I love it! The horses make it so wholesome and all of the participants look so proud and honored to be there

I'm a Republican 100% but after serving in the army, there is no way in hell I'd want to be part of that dog and pony show. Change of commands were bad enough, but for this listening to some autistic CSM's screaming at me, no-****ing-thank you.

(I know it's pluralized command sergeants major).

I would Not want to be the Soldier who has to march the whole parade route carrying the Army Colors with all the Battle streamers on it. Even with the harness he is wearing, that Flag is heavy as hell. Don't get me wrong, it would be a hell of an honor to be the Soldier chosen to carry the Army Colors, but that Soldier is working harder than any other Soldier in the parade.

Happy Birthday US Army! Thank you for your service! I served in the Army from July 2006 to September 2011 as a military analyst, and I deployed to Iraq twice (December 2007 to February 2009 and June 2010 to May 2011).

I forgot the 11th airborne was reactivated.

The recruitment video on Fox News was absolute fire.

If I had a little American flag, I'd be waving it.

I guess since we don't "march" into battle anymore, there's not a huge emphasis on it. But when done well, it does convey a sense of discipline.

I'm as proud as can be of our Army: they're tough, they're brave, they're resourceful... but they can't stay in step por mierda!

I think the US Army should consider sending recruits to the ROTC program at A&M for a bit to teach them what it's supposed to look like. Yikes.

After watching, I wish I would've made the trip to DC. I've never been. Truly an awesome parade! Would've been a great time to be there.

That was well worth watching.

Happy Birthday to the US Army...My 4th Great Grandfather was at Yorktown as part of the Virginia Militia in his Second enlistment. My 2nd great grandfather was at Gettysburg, in the 14th Alabama. He was wounded and captured. My Grandfather fought in WW1 as part of the Big Red One. My Dad, WW2 at the Bulge and the Battle of the Rineland. My oldest brother, Vietnam was a cannon cocker. My son part of the 101st, and his wife in HR. Both of them Aggies and the Corps. God Bless all of America's soldiers...

This parade is fantastic....what a recruiting pitch!!!!!

Were here but didn't make it to the parade. We watched live, and opened the windows and could hear the fireworks and cannons. Would have been great to be there, but still cool to hear it. Heading to the White House on Monday and can't wait.

Looked like we sent all our Army ROTC senior contract '26 seniors up for this parade. Did the Trigon wrangle a Texas Air Guard C-130 ride up/back for them? Likely they are all headed to summer camp next week. Looked good and were in step while on camera. Saw it better on Newsmax which we changed too after getting pissed at all the commentators talking too much on Fox. Plus all the commercials.

The Enlistment/Reenlistment was so powerful. Yeah I cried. That and seeing the Vietnam era represented.



How they were treated is unforgivable. We don't start the war. We go and do what we are told to do.
