7/11s from noon to one on weekdays are a gold mine.
Cheap labor for the house people are going to be buying was a gold mine. I'm thinking contractors aren't going to eat the cost of hiring non illegals.
Anyone want to guess how much the price of houses are going to increase now that Americans will have to work these jobs?
No Spin, I know you are on the left and I have a question:
how do you libs reconcile the fact that you are literally ok exploiting and abusing illegals to provide you cheap labor so you can save a buck on your house, but you also rage about people not making a living wage because the minimum wage is too low, are pro union which artificially increases the cost of labor, and all kinds of other Marxist nonsense.
What you advocate with illegals is no different than advocating for bond servantry imo.
Good questions, Logo, and if this was twenty years ago, I'd be giving you a pretzel-twisted response, but that NSA is long gone. I haven't been a liberal in more years than I can remember, at least not by the liberals that have taken over the left. The older I get the more libertarian I become.
Back to your questions.
I don't believe in exploiting anyone, in this country or others, just so that a businessman can keep even more money for himself, or make more money for their shareholders.
I don't want illegals in my country and I don't want them being hired for jobs that American businesses, big and small, knowingly give to them because they, the businesses, want to keep even more money by paying cheaper labor than they would an American. To me, shame on everyone who knowingly hires illegals, and yes, only an idiot would think that people who hire illegals don't know they're hiring illegals, wink-wink, and all.
If a house, or any good is going to cost more because of all the round-ups, I make more money than I'll ever need, and any jump in price I'm good with. Prices have increased in every administration my entire life, and they'll continue until the day I die.
When it comes to unions, I've hated them since I was a kid. I never saw them being anything more than a way for employees to not be able to be held to account like people that aren't in unions as well as a way for unions to rake in money for themselves, which they in turn would send some up to the politicians they owned.
As for minimum wage, again, the NSA that would have cared about minimum wage couldn't care less. Now, I do like that businesses like HEB and others started paying fifty percent and more over minimum wage to their employees if only to show that they could and still make their profits. Do I think there should be a federally mandated minimum wage? I couldn't care less. If it doubles or goes away it won't affect my lifestyle one iota.
Thanks for your questions, I hope I answered them, at least somewhat in a way that makes sense.
There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the later ignorance. Hippocrates
