I am in favor of allowing trans athletes to compete as trans athletes. I just think they should do it within their biological group. Why is this complicated?
Its not, but its part of progressive ideoloy they be seen as real girls for some reason. Its one of the reasons voters rejected them (Democrats).Ridgeback85 said:

This is devoid of any logic.
If you are to argue that trans women are the same as real women, why would you make an exception to move biological women forward in a competition because they were knocked out by a trans girl? That seems to acknowledge that there is a difference there.
That's because I have daughters.TOUCHDOWN! said:

Lot of assumptions in this thread.
I don't think biological men should participate in women's sports. This also isn't in my top 50 list of most important things that I want the federal government to focus on. What I find weird is that so many conservatives have made this one of their top 3 issues and spend so much time talking about it.
Lol at the left having to come up with a workaround for their insane idea that men should be able to compete in women's sports.BaitShack said:
If I'm reading this correctly California is changing a rule to allow one additional athlete to advance to the next level. This is to offset the event where a girl gets bumped/beat out by a trans girl. Is this not an acknowledgement than trans women are not women? What happens if 2 trans folks are competing? Do they take an additional 2 along?
I'm sure my re-cap made no sense.

How about "boys compete with boys, even if they suffer from mental illness" ?
Tell that to the Governor of California and future Democrat President hopefulTOUCHDOWN! said:

It's not the 20 mentally ill boys that are so much the concern. Rather, it's the 20 otherwise deserving biological female girls that are getting displaced.schmellba99 said:That's because I have daughters.TOUCHDOWN! said:

Actual daughters - females from birth, XX chromosomes, able to have kids. You know - actual females. And I want them involved in athletics. Against other females, not mentally ill boys that couldn't hack it against other boys and instead of grinding and working harder to get better they decided to take the lazy way out and compete against girls to make themselves feel better.
I am from California, and I noticed how the liberal lunatics have continued to ruin the state. I am from Fremont, California, but I moved to Texas in August 2013. After graduating from Texas A&M in May 2017, I have continued to stay in Texas. My parents still live in Fremont, and I visit them twice a year. I have not looked back, and my parents actually encouraged me to move to Texas because of the high cost of living for a decreasing quality of life in California. I have always voted Republican and continue to do so.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:Only applies to sane people. California is run by insane morons.BigRobSA said:

It wouldn't rank amongst my priorities. But no issue exemplifies the absolute ignorance and extremism of the Democrat Party and the American left than their infatuation with low-testosterone males using their limited advantages to win competitions they would never be able to win against their own gender. For many reasons, this particular bit of stupidity needs highlighting as standard Democrat Party/American leftist thinking on a wide variety of issues.TOUCHDOWN! said:

How come no trans men compete in mens sports, if this is all about their supposed "right" to compete with the gender they identify as?
It's about doing the right thing. I'm sure you'd feel different if a naked dude was in the locker room with your daughter or seriously injured your daughter in a sport he had no business playing against women.TOUCHDOWN! said:
