Don't feel too bad, only time I ate fried gator was at a restaurant in the Greektown section of Downtown Detroit. But it counts.

If you don't love at least gulf shrimp, (not to mention oysterss and red, etc) then GET A ROPE!
To be fair, I don't like much seafood to begin with. If God wanted us to eat seafood he would have made it taste like cow. But even if I did, most seafood is a filter for the water it lives in and the Gulf Coast is NASTY until you get to Padre
This is also dumb

Though I do kinda take exception to 45 - I have fresh peaches all of the time, but not from marble falls or pittsburg. My mom has a peach tree in her back yard and always has a bunch she pawns off on me every year.

I'll also add:

47. Dewberry wine
48. Muscadine wine
49. Armadillo eggs
50. Smoked hard boiled eggs

I do think breakfast tacos need to be on the list. Most of the country thinks they are the monstrosity they call a "breakfast burrito" at McDonalds

Except there were always called taquitos before they become breakfast tacos where I'm from.

Some of these suggestions I would argue against because they aren't purely Texan. Grits and pralines for instance. Sure, Texans love them, but they are very prominent items in other southern states.

Tried to keep my list as "texan" as I could. I'm from deep east Texas though, so I got a lot of southern and cajun as well

I would also add:
1. Pecans picked up off the ground from under the tree that you crack open with your own hands (or place on the concrete and gently crack open with your heel).
2. Watermelon growing under the nest of trees between two of the fields you are working that makes a cool treat on a hot July afternoon when you're taking a break. Cut open with your own pocket knife.
3. Blueberries and blackberries that you just plucked off the branch....also on a hot summer afternoon while taking a break from farming.
4. Pickles made from the cucumbers grown in your own garden.
5. Crawdads you plucked out of their holes yourself.
6. Corn on the cob that you just picked from your own field and shucked yourself on the front porch.
7. Squash and zucchini from your own garden

These are good and need to add mulberries while sitting in the tree when you were a kid.

I've seen the water it comes out of... no thanks
Do you drink milk or eat cereal or ice cream? You should visit a dairy farm.

Same plant, different part. The *****ly pear is the flower bud and nopal is the tender new leaf.

A few items I might have had, just never heard them referred to by those names, or I don't recall eating them as a kid.

Definitely never had Gator, Buc-ee's Brisket, the Bluebonnet wine, or Shiner Bock since I don't drink.

Ya ain't missed anything as far as the bolded.
