Both. The bigger corruption was knowing that this level of incompetence or simply in attention to the abuse and fraud was systemic, and intentionally allowing it to continue and expand served political ends and goals of the left: redistribution of wealth and resources to political allies and constituents outside of what was authorized by law. They didn't want to fix problems the left politically benefitted from leaving in place.

Didn't realize the Feds paid unemployment claims. We should cut that **** out and just let the states handle it.

Just look at programs listed and DOGE timeline want to bet most of the abuse was COVID related?

The two times I've been on UE I was harassed constantly by the state regarding my status and job searches.

Thankfully the 2nd time around was a short Covid furlough and not nearly as prolonged. First time I was actively applying, rewriting my resume, and writing custom cover letters for 8 months.
