Also, they want control over their body and abortion on demand access. They believe that conservatives are passing anti-abortion laws to prevent them from achieving education and career goals by forcing them to give birth to babies they don't want. In addition, they believe liberals will help close the gender gap at every level of education of educational attainment. For these reasons, these women believe that the liberals will help them to achieve the myth of having it all on their terms.

In contrast, young men notice how women significantly outnumber men in college enrollment and completion. Also, they notice how courts are skewed toward women in divorce and child custody cases. Most importantly, they hear the left waging war on men for being oppressive to women. For these reasons, young men are becoming more conservative.

I'd argue most ideas that are of relevance are self-reinforcing. No one gets fat eating bad tasting sweets.

If a woman gets an abortion then in order for her to change her mind that abortion is wrong she has to not only be logically convinced it is wrong but also be willing to address that what she did was wrong.

Similar thing for sex. If a woman has sex outside of marriage she will then struggle to be able to accept value of abstinence. Because it will change her mind and also be something that causes her opinion of herself to decrease.

I signal our women here but you could flip the role to men in both scenarios (just for the guy him encouraging or pressing his partner to get an abortion). In both cases you add a very difficult challenge to changing the mind by introducing what the change of mind will do to their self-perception (lower it). I'd argue that the difficulty is amplified because sub-conciously i think people argue against wanting to hurt their own self-perception but mask it in other arguments.

The problem is then that men and women respond to being cynical in different ways. Men become more independent, fewer friends, less supportive, more rugged individualist, and selfish. Women become more dependent, fewer (good) friends, more aggressive, commoditize beauty and selfish.

in general, women are a lot more sensitive and emotional than men. That's not a good or bad thing, but the reality of how we're made up. It makes them prime targets for the ideologies the Universities push...and we know which way that skews.
