Have you seen the typical audience for a drag show? It damn sure isn't dominated by men.Bucketrunner said:

The "drag race" shows on T.V. are also majority women viewership, and the "drag conventions" have majority women attendees. This makes the false equivalency to blackface shows even more absurd, unless one honestly believes that the biggest fans of blackface are black people.HTownAg98 said:Have you seen the typical audience for a drag show? Just so I'm clear....
Campus allows Richard Spencer to speak and we have no issue.
But the BOR say he couldn't give the speech, like they did with Draggieland?CanyonAg77 said:Anonymous Source said:

Were you alive back then?
It was a huge freaking issue. A&M President spent tens of thousands of dollars to virtue signal against Spencer

if you want the freedom to hear what Richard Spencer has to say while speaking on campus, then you might just want to let these other weirdos do their weird **** on campus. You don't have to attend either one if you don't want to.

BLM would not fall under that, they are fighting against racial prejudice through mostly nonviolent protests that have a few people who cause mass chaos to turn the protest into a riot.
However, the KKK was an "American Protestant-led Christian extremist, white supremacist, far-right hate group. It was founded in 1865 during Reconstruction in the devastated South. Various historians have characterized the Klan as America's first terrorist group."

Let me tell you about a little case called National Socialist Party of America v. Village of Skokie

"Mostly"? What are you an actual clown? Seriously? So let's get this straight, they aren't one because you don't think so? Correct? BLM caused a lot of crap in 2020, leading protests with violence. Perhaps you were still under your "rock". I don't need a history lesson from. Been educated.

A lot of the "crap" in 2020 was caused by "State and conservative civilian violence against BLM protestors represents an ongoing threat to the right to organize and publicly dissent. The use of force manifested by police and right-wing groups against BLM protestors resulted in significant injury and mortality." That caused people to panic and created mass chaos.
Stay with me here.
"right-wing protestors often use car ramming to bluntly injure protestors." Does this seem ok to you, what would you do in this kind of situation. When our streets become wars with police throwing tear gas and people ramming cars into protesters along with "Data from various sources suggests that police disproportionately target BLM protests for violent intervention." We see they panicked.
Also, the BLM protesters did not go around lynching white people to stop them from voting or going to school.
I think you need to catch up on your history.
Yes you also need an English class because you seem like you're having a stroke. "I don't need a history lesson from. Been educated."

Smart ass response not withstanding, no, they've switched their politics. This is a far cry from defending groups against "free speech zones". And drag shows aren't speech, regardless of what some court says.HTownAg98 said:No, they just sometimes defend causes that you don't like.
