The good news is by so many of these super-important people showing their obvious bias, they are getting their names on the lists if/when they are considered for any future political (judicial) appointments.

Of course this only matters when the Democrats aren't in the majority...duh. Objectivity is the last thing they would ever consider to be important.

I think we are approaching (or are likely past) Rule 11 territory with this one. In a just world there should be sanctions against the idiot for filing this action. The precedent is quite clear.

Trump's first term was squandered because members of his own administration working against him. Sadly, much of his second term will likewise be wasted because they insist on respecting lower court rulings despite USSC having around ruled in favor of the Executive Branch on many of these immigration challenges.

I wish the SCOTUS would just start responding to some of these obvious cases with a 1 page letter stating "Overruled based on previous decision on this topic." without going through the motions of considering what is in effect judicial disobedience. By handcuffing the president for months in order to rule on cases dealing with subject matter they already issued rulings on, they are just playing into the hands of the people using abusive lawfare to interfere with the functioning of the executive branch. The easiest way to put a stop to it is very quick summary judgements slapping down the lower courts.

Indira Talwani again, LOL. Her rulings never wind up holding up long term. As a reminder she was confirmed 94-0 by the feckless Senate in 2014.

We already have a split as the DC circuit (!) said the interim rules were ok. Unfortunately, Justice DEI oversees the 1st so we will see if the adults step in or not. She (Talwani) was reversed 3 times just over her religious belief that infanticide funding could not be cut by congress, and most recently has been on a losing crusade that DHS (ICE) and Treasury (IRS) can't share data, as well as that TPS cannot be ended for Haitians etc.

A pathetic loser, probably every bit as bad as Bozoberg imho.

The passage of this act would represent a modest step in the right direction, short of defunding biased district courts (such as the D.C. District Court) and impeaching judges incapable of presiding in good behavior, like Jeb Boasberg.

LOL, ol' Jeb has a bill named for him. Hopefully it somehow passes.

Maybe you are right. But while most of us here hold him in with a great deal of contempt, I think it's good to make him more broadly 'infamous' among the public.
