Hearing the Dems cry about downsizing the IRS and cutting wasteful spending is music to my ears. I've been listening occasionally to Pod save America, and you can tell they're just in agony over how to spin this stuff so it'll be unpopular. They're in an impossible position. They love the stuff that everyone hates.

The IRS needs to expand in one area - Non-profits.

All the BLMs, Clinton Foundation and NGOs need to be audited and have their statuses revoked if in non-compliance.

that would be good.

Biggest area though would be to go after cartel money and other transnational criminal organizations.

Agents assigned to task forces do this. IMO, That should be 90% of their focus. 5% on non-profits and 4% on companies. 1% on individual blatant tax evaders.

The inverse is probably what happens now.

That they target certain people and groups. That they aren't efficient and actually cause more problems than they solve. That there are better ways to audit people. Hell I hope they teach the IRS how to answer the phone or return a phone call.
