Many don't follow 50 pages of one single thread. Plus, adding to only one thread can add hundreds of new posts on a thread that's hard to follow.Definitely Not A Cop said:Science Denier said:Why?Definitely Not A Cop said:

That is what's happening. And it's the same commentary over and over. A lot better discussion is generated imo when it's centralized. To each their own.

How many "conservatives" are teaching at the Bush School of Government and Public Service? For what kind of faculty are we paying using State of Texas and Texas A&M resources to prepare the next generation of public servants?jh88ag said:
"Under Natsios, who now teaches at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M, USAID nearly doubled its budget to $14 billion with a worldwide workforce of 8,100 employees"
Typical bureaucrat brag. The only way bureaucrats evaluate their success is by how much they grew their programs.
No ones been charged yet. There is 0 need to show any evidence.AggiePops said:
Anyone seen or heard Musk elaborate on why he considers USAID to be a criminal organization and what evidence he has to back it up? It DOES take more than him simply saying so.

Is this a trial? We have seen the evidence and have judged it so. You are free to go a different routeAggiePops said:

Know what you mean. Ecstatic that proof the media is basically on the take is emerging. Its been so obvious that for all intentions and purposes they indistinguishable from the DNC's publicity arm, and their role in pushing regressive Left activist notions like the gender-bender agenda when 79 % of the people show against even among their voters is a good example.AgBQ-00 said:

That answers the criminal activities question --- as if all the other things caught doing is not bad actor enough.Iraq2xVeteran said:

In short - I hope everyone involved rots in prison.

Given that everything I've ever seen come of the bush school appears to be aligned with the interests of the globalist elites... I'd be happy to just shut the entire thing down... and anything/anyone that actually was doing good stuff there I'm sorry... but you're necessary collateral damage.texagbeliever said:

Pretty asinine responses to what was a legitimate question. Not liking the distribution list for allocating aid is not the same as it being evidence of criminality. As in, actually breaking the law. If they did, they did, but how about actual examples of law breaking? As for Majorca's saying that, I agree the guy was clueless.Ellis Wyatt said:Is that what you said when Mayorkas told us the border was secure?AggiePops said:

Corruption is often illegal. They've exposed plenty of corruption already. But, assuming, arguendo, that you are right and the claim of criminality is hyperbole. Get used to it or quit watching the news. We've had to put up with the Left's hyperbole for more than fifty years, especially Donald Trump.AggiePops said:Pretty asinine responses to what was a legitimate question. No. it's the response to the same liars trying to hide our own expenditures from us. It's illegal, and they need to be brought to justice. Anyone defending it is corrupt himself.AggiePops said:Pretty asinine responses to what was a legitimate question. A year ago plenty on the Right, including numerous posters in TexAgs, agreed Trump was personally a piece of crap and hoped DeSantis would get the nomination. Talk about leaves blowing in the wind. Hey, I'm good with paring down government bureaucracy, doing away with waste and unnecessary red tape. Good policy. Same with kicking out criminal migrants and shutting off more illegal migration. I'm also good with merit based hiring and promotions but not good with saying DEI is bad and position needs to be based on merit only and then following that up by putting people into positions of authority whose chief 'merit' is being a Trump 'yes' man. I'm good with calling for free speech but not good with Trump demanding a journalist be axed because he wrote pieces that were critical of him. Cutting down on the inefficiency of government is good but creating a new sort of chaos in doing so is not as it's just another kind of inefficiency and incompetence.WolfCall said:Corruption is often illegal. Do you think anyone on the Right now cares about being nice to the Left? Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Absolutely anything illegal needs to be stopped and punished. Any big program like USAID is bound to have some corruption involved, same as happened with each of the three COVID relief packages, and it needs to be discovered and rooted out. Throwing out the baby with the bath water has never been a good idea though. You don't apply an axe to the neck to get rid of a hangnail.Ellis Wyatt said:No. it's the response to the same liars trying to hide our own expenditures from us. Please explain how their actions are illegal. Use the Federal Code of Regulations and any pertinent laws and/or Federal Legislation. Include links to said information.beeger12 said:
Love how others discount people with experience "in the field" because it goes against the narrative they want to believe. If you think the actions Musk and his teenage DOGE squad are taking is all about "gov't waste" and it doesn't put America at risk, I think you are being shortsighted. This administration and their actions at the CIA, FBI, Treasury, USAID, and DOJ are illegal, unwarranted and idiotic. It is just retribution for anyone and anything going against Trump. He is doing exactly what we were warned he would do.
