I think the Swamp finally woke up to the very real possibility that Trump may be successful in systematically dismantling all of the swampy money laundering infrastructure they spent decades building. Instructions went out to the compromised members of the committee to try to stop RFK, or else.

But on health, I think he has a passion for trying to make things better for the country. That's all. The fact that the Dems oppose him is disgusting.

I'm super interested in MAHA fixing the food supply, and super skeptical about RFK Jr's attacks on things like traditional vaccines and the NRA. Yes, obviously, the job he's up for should have nothing to do with the NRA - but I dislike enemies of the 2nd Amendment.

No kidding, guys. I go to Europe for two weeks, EAT LIKE A PIG, come home and hop on the scale....

And I've lost two pounds.

I'm not educated enough about food additives and chemicals, but there is something odd about food in this country. And even unprocessed food is treated the same way.

Spent 3 weeks in Europe last December and lost 10 pounds...yes did a lot of walking but I ate horribly.

I personally know 3 seperate people that went to Europe for 2 weeks last summer. All of them returned saying they didn't gain a pound after eating bread and pastries the whole time.

Without knowing the mechanisms involved, I am convinced:

- The food manufacturers want food to last for months, if not years , on the shelf to maximize profits
- The same want the food to be addictive so we eat way too much of it (many of these food companies employ the same scientists who maximized the addictiveness of cigarettes)
- The pharmaceutical industry wants us fat and out of shape so we'll take their drugs (that would be unnecessary without the above food manufacturers doing their thing).

When you see Cheetos in the US with 20 ingredients and Cheetos in Mexico with 5, you gotta ask what all that extra crap is for.

I'm fine with what you've said, and I'll add that the idea that vaccine makers are immune from lawsuit is insane, and in my opinion, possibly unconstitutional.

However, RFK has widely been quoted as saying "There's no vaccine that is safe and effective".

Look, I'm all for transparency, research, and informed health decisions, but we've largely eliminated a lot of dangerous diseases with vaccines, so that statement seems extreme, and incorrect, to me - but I think we should be able to have an open debate about it.

I do intermittent fasting to basically maintain my weight so I don't eat breakfast and my wife was like "you're not going to do that while we're on vacation." So I was eating way more and worse food and I could actually compare the pictures at the start of my trip to the end and could see a difference.

How do you form that opinion when the "gold standard" of science has not been applied to many of FDA's approvals? My understanding is that many of the efforts to study vax dangers has been blocked?

Not to mention the FDA/Pharma connection/corruption that is widely known by any reasonable person. Did you not learn anything during covid?

Here is the exact quote, RFK testified today that he was cut off by Fridman and could not finish his answer.

Kennedy: I think some of the live virus vaccines are probably averting more problems than they're causing. There's no vaccine that is, you know, safe and effective.

I went into watching the hearing not a fan of RFK. He's a huge liberal, and I just don't trust him.

I'm still not a fan, but I thought he gave very reasonable answers regarding vaccines.

Even if he didn't qualify it, it's still true. That's why vaccine manufacturers have protection from liability

Big pharma said that no vaccine was safe. That's why they needed immunity.
