I'm super interested in MAHA fixing the food supply, and super skeptical about RFK Jr's attacks on things like traditional vaccines and the NRA. Yes, obviously, the job he's up for should have nothing to do with the NRA - but I dislike enemies of the 2nd Amendment.
Have you actually heard his stance on vaccines? He's very reasonable. But since he has the nerve to ask for accountability and transparency, he's a vax denier and a conspiracy theorist.
He doesn't think shots should be mandatory and he thinks research about side effects and possible risks should be available to the public. That's pretty much his stance.
I'm fine with what you've said, and I'll add that the idea that vaccine makers are immune from lawsuit is insane, and in my opinion, possibly unconstitutional.
However, RFK has widely been quoted as saying "There's no vaccine that is safe and effective".
Look, I'm all for transparency, research, and informed health decisions, but we've largely eliminated a lot of dangerous diseases with vaccines, so that statement seems extreme, and incorrect, to me - but I think we should be able to have an open debate about it.
