The key thing here is the power stations and the refinery. Yes hitting the airport, ATC tower and holing the tarmac was fine, but the Houthis can pretty much launch their drones from lots of spots, not just there. The port is good because it makes it harder to supply them with weapons, but again not earth shattering. Hitting the power stations and the refinery is a message to Iran to say, hey you know how you're having to choose between A) heat for your restless population and B) electricity for your economy? Be a real shame if C) none of the above became your only option.

What's not stated is that Iran & the Houthis consider the act of breathing by an Israeli an aggression.
