Re: "nsurrection ? I guess the left wants a civil war because a stunt like disenfranchising 70 million votes is EXACTLY how you'd get a civil war."

The Left does nor get it that it is not just Trump... but also the 70,000,000+ people that voted for him.

They always talk like <poof> magically Trump appeared and was installed unilaterally by Trump himself.

Niiiice.

David M. Shulte, the co-author of the Hill "Opinion" piece, also happens to be the owner of the Martha's Vinyard compound that Barack and Michelle have "rented"...

Anything and everything to stop a Fascist and protect Democracy should be considered.. . To protect our Democracy we must kill the democratic process and nullify the vote of the people in a legitimate election, If we must put the voters in camps and eliminate them to save them from their self, then it must be done. NO STEP IS TOO SMALL OR TOO DRASTIC TO SAVE DEMOCRACY Two hundred years ago our forefathers died to start a democracy, today conservatives must die to save that same democracy !!! It is not that hard to understand.

This argument keeps playing out over and over, yet, the way I read it, the literal text of the Ammendment doesn't apply to holding the office of President or Vice President. That is the exact argument made by Trump's attorneys in CO vs Trump. SCOTUS would almost certainly strike down any attempt to not certify Trump next month based on Section 3 of the 14th. Such an argument is DOA.

The Hill is still living in pre-2024, thinking that the majority of the country is opposed to Trump being President.

They're like Homer Stokes at the end of O Brother Where Art Thou. Completely obtuse and unable to read the room and accept reality.

This isn't 2017, The Hill. It's not even 2023. The crap the left and the deep state got away with before will no longer fly.

It's morning in America again.

Their tears will be delicious when Trump is sworn in.

The days and weeks following November 5 were glorious and we will get to have version 2.0 on January 20. I'm so excited for it.

I would advise them not to attempt any obstruction. That would be very bad.

What... Republicans would do something about it? LOL

The remarkable thing about this is that it is yet another indicia as to how far the Ivy League legal schools have fallen (written by law review editors from 2 of them, using terrible precedent citations). Otherwise it wouldn't warrant even mockery or a notation.

BTW, that map is old. Counties in Texas along the Rio Grande went for Trump. I don't like Kamala, and the dem proposal is absurd and doa; however, mongoloid is a little harsh.
I hate tu. It's in my blood.

People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because hard men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
