This argument keeps playing out over and over, yet, the way I read it, the literal text of the Ammendment doesn't apply to holding the office of President or Vice President. That is the exact argument made by Trump's attorneys in CO vs Trump. SCOTUS would almost certainly strike down any attempt to not certify Trump next month based on Section 3 of the 14th. Such an argument is DOA.
