There's a reason Junior is saying it and not his dad.
What's your guess?

I guarantee you with that reaction Dad is not at all in favor of this.
Junior is not facing trumped up impeachment charges about meddling in favor of Russia some damn how again, within hours of Jan 20, 2025. 47 is legally merely a private citizen until sworn in and can't meddle directly in foreign policy matters. The NSA/CIA/FBI are monitoring his every breath/utterance.

If you think lending / leasing weapons ammo and materiel is the same as actively targeting and firing ATACMS into Russia … which only US Personnel can do …ACT OF WAR

ATACMS requires US satellite intel fed into a firing system that takes not one but two US personnel with requisite security levels to operate … you tell me

I'll tell you. There are no us troops in ukraine pushing the button to launch missiles into Russia

Now, if you want to go a round about way and claim there's some contractors there, then maybe.

I just wish Russia would go ahead and finish them off so we can stop funding it.

A distinction without a difference, still US weapon systems that can only be operated by US personnel

The Ukes don't know how to push buttons?

Damn, that makes Putin and his "army" look even more pathetic, and after almost three years of failures, i didn't think that was possible.

And we weren't subverting Ukraine either? We turned it into a US vessel state.

And even if everything you said is 100% true. WHO CARES? Is it worth starting nuclear war? Evaporating entire cities?

FOOLS! All of you pushing for this war to continue are damned fools.

A vessel is not a vassal, but no, we didn't. We didn't continue the Soviet tradition of stripping it bare and sucking it dry like the Russians. All we did was tell the opposition leadership who from their side we'd like to deal with when the Ukrainians had had enough of the Kremlin.

And it's funny that, "We meddled in Ukrainian politics!" and it's bad, but Russia does it and it's not only perfectly reasonable and fine, but their prerogative. But, hey, totally not pro-Russia or Putin or anything. We're patriots who believe in American exceptionalism (but through the same isolationism formerly pushed by progressives instead of supporting ideals like freedom and democracy against tyranny)!!! We just want to save Ukrainian lives (by telling them to just shut up and give in to murderers, rapists, and war criminals)! Again, not pro-Russia or Putin! Just pro-peace through appeasement.

And no one is using nukes. There have been plenty of proxy wars and final conflicts in the last 80 years involving nuclear powers, and do you know how many have used nukes? None. Not one. So if you think someone is going to start, I've got some ocean front property in Arizona for you...

The US Army has two divisions deployed near the Romanian border with Ukraine. Folks tend to forget that, and we never hear anything about that fact.

Nukes will be used again. Only question is when. Is it likely Putin uses them against the West related to this conflict, no. If he did, it would likely be Germany or France, then Russia who get crippled for decades.

That all said, the US has absolutely no business funding or weaponizing this conflict. Much like many others since WW2. There are many other ways for the US to exert influence and spread our exceptionalist values. Escalating nuke tensions and ballooning our debt isn't one of them. That doesn't make you an "isolationist" it makes you fiscally responsible.

$200B so far to Ukraine is the tip of the iceberg. We have nothing but deaths and contractor profits to show for the trillions wasted in Iraq and Afghanistan. The only difference here is we have a celebrity comedian that has become an icon in the eyes of liberals. If Zelensky was a tribal Muslim, no one would care.

This is false. Our largest military presence is in Costanta which is over 100 miles from the Ukrainian border an closer to Bulgaria than it is Ukraine. We have also been there since 2003. I spent time there a few years ago for an AT one summer.

I forgot Zelensky was a comedian. That Putin can't even defeat a comedian makes Putin seem even more pathetic than he already looks.

Let's be honest, this is the new democrat tactic moving forward. They are going to do whatever they choose and never answer questions about it. They don't have to.

They ran Biden from his basement. They ran Kamala without her being selected by voters and she never held a single press conference or laid out her policies in any way. And millions of idiots had no problem with it.

We don't even know who is actually running our government now or who would have been running it if Kackles had been elected. Democrat bots are perfectly fine with that, and leftists don't consider us human, much less deserving of any explanations.

We can only guess why the people running our government chose to announce a policy change via their puppet head of state.

Except we do. It's the intelligence agencies. And it started when they used lies about Russia and then Ukraine (tye Vindman Ciaramella hoax). That's when I realized I'd never take fears or narratives about either country seriously.

Well except for the "two divisions" part and the "near the Romanian border with Ukraine" part, he was completely right.

I mean, it may be, but that's speculation. And of course, there is no accountability when the people making the decisions are not people Americans voted into office.

We have to dismantle the swamp. It is completely unconstitutional and antithetical to America's founding.

Legislation needs to be introduced: "Congress can prevent WW3"
Quote:

While the process of passing rescission legislation to block ATACMS from being used by Ukraine to attack Russia may take longer than the presidential transition period that ends with President Trump's Inauguration on January 20, 2025, the very fact of originating the legislation in Congress will send clear messages to Presidents Biden, Putin, and Trump. That message will be that Congress does not approve the funding of a reckless executive decision made by a lame-duck president (with questionable mental acuity) that could lead to a World War III thermonuclear confrontation before it was over.

Those generals worried that Trump, once in office, might move to court-martial them with treason charges have once again calculated poorly, betting that by getting Biden to escalate the war in Ukraine, they could save their hides. The introduction of rescission legislation in Congress will send a clear message to Biden that influential (most likely bipartisan) voices in Congress have no appetite for a war with Russia. Biden should be reminded that Congress "has the authority to extend the impeachment process to officials who are no longer in office."

With rescission legislation introduced into Congress, President Zelensky will quickly realize that continued use of ATACMS missiles would effectively terminate Ukraine's ability to get continued congressional funding to support the war. President-Elect Trump could publicly applaud the introduction of the legislation, repeating with emphasis his desire to end the war in Ukraine once he is back in the White House. Putin could convince his military, and perhaps even more importantly, his fellow Russian citizens, that by restraining a Russian nuclear retaliation (that he is now authorized to launch), he is showing restraint worthy of praise.
